  2. there is always something isnt there.... like you said the camber on the front isnt too bad, but the rear is a diff story. i think ill stick with the coilovers. just gotta get these spacers sussed now :eek1: cheers shannon
  3. heya bugalugs.... ive got my eye on a set of tein coil overs , hopefully they should do the trick. im not too fussed about the "stiffer" ride, but i guess thats easy to say now, ask me again in a week ...lol do you know roughly how much of a drop you got with your coilovers? any pics i could check out? i been told that the wheels im getting will rub on the brakes, so im gonna be needing wheel spacers? they didnt have any there to try, but if i can get them on with a spacer i guess its all good. what have you heard that turned you off em? cheers shannon

  5. your a wealth of information mate!! cheers where did you get your shocks machined / suspension done? and how much lower is your car? any suggestions on where to get the spacers done? im more than likely gonna get em from jms. do you know if you usually need to have em front and back ? thanks again shannon
  6. heya clint, thats what ive heard, but to acheive the ride height i want ,i dont think i will be able to just use springs? has anyone used the whiteline springs with the bilstein shocks to get a drop of 40 (ish) mm ? or does anyone know of another way of acheiving that kinda ride height ? also i been told im gonna have to get a set of wheel spacers for the wheels i want, has anyone used these and if so anyone had any problems with em? are they just needed on the front usually or the rear aswell? so many questions...... thanks shannon
  7. hey peeps need to get my car atleast 40mm closer to the ground and from what i been told, the shocks would just die if i tried putting lower springs in. was told that they usually dont drop the car much anyway, so i guess coilovers are the way to go .... anyone have for sale or know where i can get a reasonably priced set of adjustable coil overs? cheers shannon
  8. hey clint , let me know how you go mate .... very keen to see how it turns out. yeah i was gonna get someone to look over it, make sure its in good enuff condition and make sure it is suitable (i know f@ck all about TO4's and what types are best suited to what) i bought it off a mate that was gonna use it on a Vl turbo (G Force if you seen it round) so i thought coz its a similar engine it could be suitable it doesnt have an external wastegate, so your right i will be needing one of em , want any experiance on doing another manifold?? lol!! do you know of any fuel pumps that will do ther trick , will bosch ones that everyone one uses do the trick? .. also do you know of a cost on the pump and injectors? would a pigy back comp do the job? shame the stocky comp cant just be re programmed. sorry for all the questions joel, i got 20% tint .. metallic , lifetime warantee etc. got the car done for $200 so i guess i didnt do too bad. what did the fmic cost ya bud? cheers again shannon
  9. just a quick question for any of the lads @ RPM .. i have an R33 , pretty much stock as , apart from a k&N air filter and an exhaust. my question is , i have a TO4 here (not totally sure on specs so im making this harder than it has to be) and im thinking of putting it on to get a few more rwkw's as im pretty bored with the car as is. what would the approx cost be to install it, and what would have to be done ...eg , manifold / fuel pump / larger injectors....etc sorry its such an open question, and i have so little info but im just trying to get a rough idea of what the cost will be. if you need any extra info pls let me know:burnout: cheers shannon oh PS .. joel , where did ya get your windows tinted and what did it cost ya? just got mine done and was curious to know if i got a good deal...
  10. just out of curiousity , does anyone know the aceptable minimum thickness of the rear rotors for an r33? got mine machined, but apparantly they couldnt find any info on rear thickness? cheers shannon

  12. does anyone know where to buy brake pads for an r33? i havent looked into it yet, but im guessing rocca's / sprints wouldnt stock em . if so does anyone know an approx price, not after any race spec pads:burnout: just some stocky's or something half decent. also can anyone reccoment anywhere to get em done, i know its pretty hard to **** up a brake change , but im sure there are some cowboys that could do a bit of damage. cheers shannon
