get a turbo.. n/a skylines are junk. i've been drivin my turbo on my red's still and its been like 6 months+ only got pulled over cos i was speeding x.x they didnt even know i had a turbo

hi im about to buy an exhaust system with a smacked in muffler lol.. will that affect the performance ? will it affect anything ? jus buyin it cos im broke atm nd need a new exhaust.. oh another question, can i buy a replacement muffler? lol and install it with the exhaust system?

its definately my exhaust... do you guys think replacing my catback system will fix it? onyl the catback was removed.. (however i intend to upgrade to a turboback exhaust) Only thing i think it is is that my Exhaust is leaking..can anyone confirmt his. thx

Hey, my mechanic recently installed a clutch for me nd needed to take off my exhaust and now i got the car back with my turbo scraping/hiss whenever the revs are over 2000 (when the turbo kicks in) .. i'm 100% sure its from the turbo.. The turbo runs perfectly fine.. i could drive at high revs no problems but i absolutely hate the sound.. my mechanic recommends getting a new exhaust cos apparantly mines smashed.. he said we'll work from there as his not certain what it is.. anyone know what it is and how much it costs to fix? hi few questions about clutches my clutch is dying when i change gears like my gearbox crunches and when i let the clutch go slowly the car like jumps like its about to stall until i fully release it.. Anyway, when im pushin the car in like 2nd or 3rd sometime it cuts out for a half a second like i took the clutch in and out .. (is this slipping) anyway, pretty sure i need new clutch, does anyone know where in melbourne to get it done? how much the labour will cost? Anyone know where to buy cheap clutches? What kind of clutch to get? im running about 180rwkw.. will exedy HD clutch be good enough? ($400 from ebaY)

Thanks for replies. do you guys reckon that it'll be safe to boost to 11 psi on my gtst? i've got a catback exhaust (i will be putting down/front pipes) and a pod filter installed.. And an aftermarket heavy duty clutch. would that be enough or will i need a front mount?? As its only 11psi most ppl are saying i dont need a Fmic...

i think he meant my catback was too thin, and if i boost my turbo .. my 3"catback won't be able to handle it and it'll break my exhaust.. lets say if it does break.. would it just be my exhaust? or will it damage other parts aswell.. cos what im thinking is i may aswell keep my exhaust til it does break (if it does) rather than buying a new one.. and i dont have a fmic.. do you guys think i need it for 11psi?

yeah. im keeping it at 11psi.. just to be ont he safe side.. what im worried about is my Ceramic exhaust, MY Mechanic is saying that i need a new 3 inch catback because my current ones really thin and if i boost my turbo to 11psi it will just break the exhaust? Whats your opinoion guys, thanks for the replies

far out forgot to say i yeah i got a 3 inch exhaust catback.. he said its ceramic.. and that it'll break if i boost it too much..he sed it can't handle more boost.. so i was wondering what would happen if i do boost it and leave the current exhaust? also my mufflers kicked in a bit. does this ruin performance? lol. Hi, i went to my mechanic today so he can install my Turbotech boost controller.. He recons i need a gauge.. anyone know a cheap one i can get? and he also recons my Current Exhaust is too thin for my car to be boosted anymore (i want 11psi) do you guys recon my exhaust will be fine or i should get a new one..?
