had a closer look at the questionable pod today, was looking forward to putting it back on and testing it out again! plastic is actually cracked (its a clean break - you can see it when u slightly twist it) and i found a 3cm cut / slit on the bottom side of the mesh near the metal fin. possibly from incorrect storage (i bought them used). anyway, its in the bin now. i'm going to take advice from you guys, remove the hks ones and stick with the apexi's though - they look sweet! i ordered a replacement filter today

hi all, i've got a GENUINE titanium black nismo gear knob for sale. its still in the original box with the japanese instruction manual. i bought it from unique auto sports here in Sydney for $189 a few months ago and its been sitting in my room ever since! before i bought this one, i bought one that looked like this on ebay which ended up going in the bin - it was a copy and although it looked similar it wasnt as glossy, didnt screw on tight and didnt weigh as much. the gear knob has no visible marks, scratches or dents! its still as good as new. i've screwed it on to my car once just to see how it looks, but i'm pretty attached to my stock gear knob will sell it for $150 including registered post to anywhere in australia. pickup from the hills district is also available. please call me on 0434 929 257 if you are interested! any questions, please ask! cheers

hi all, a few months ago i bought a nismo gear knob for my car, but never kept it on there purely due to aesthetics! its an r33 GTR, the gear knob is brand new and genuine nismo but it doesnt fit flush like it does on a 350z or a v35. (see pic) when its on, you can still see part of the silver gear shaft / pole (if thats what its called?) underneath it. the knob doesnt cover all of it like the standard gear knob does. has anyone else installed one of these in their car? is there a way of getting a shorter gear shaft / pole so you dont see the ugly silver bit!? is this a quick job? i'll be taking it to a mechanic to be done if it is possible. any info or advice would be appreciated. thanks!

looks pretty funky funky monkey! would look cooler if it was brushed like in the pic and slowly faded to clear in the middle though, not just a cut out! if my car was a show car i'd get one made out of lexan or perspex or something just for shows!

you got a pod filter? weirdly enough - i had the same problem with my 33 gtr and it was a dud pod filter.
