dude, pc parts are so cheap now a days and very easy to put together. i just built up my parents a kick ass dual core HP media centre PC! what i suggest you do.. is a) take it to a standard computer shop and then suss out with them what you need. (they will have repalcement parts sitting around so will be able to test and determine the failed hardware) b) come back to us all here and confirm it along with your quoted price for repair c) then check out ebay (happy to help with this part aswell) and then just buy the parts you need on there (depending on the price including postage of course - it may be cheaper buying it from the computer shop!) d) try and install and fix yourself, most of it is all plug and play! your thoughts!?

Late last night, I saw a 2000 model vspec was up for auction today (thursday) at Tokyo along with 7 other GTR's. So i gave Garry a buzz, and within 5 minutes he was on the phone to his guys in Japan organising to have it checked out first thing thismorning! Turned out to be pretty much a perfect car for me apart from the rims. Did not have any luck at the auction though! Garry told me that in the end (landed complied and registered - etc), the cost of this one would have been 12k more than my current set budget! hey my 2 desktops both have dedicated 512 mb ati graphics cards i have installed, and they both still read as only 3gb and 3.5gb of ram, instead of 4gb! both of my laptops are both at 3gb aswell, should be 4gb - i know that a portion should be reserved for video - but 1gb!? any advice would be appreciated cheers!

Keep shopping around and im sure you'll find the car which is right for you By the way, incase you didnt already know / just to clarify - that 33 GTR you showed me is from top secret performance in japan - however, they are actually a seperate company to 'top secret imports' - which is an australian based company specialising in bringing cars over from japan. Go to http://www.topsecretimports.com.au for more info or to see their current stock list. If you want a vspec II or a Nur - that would be a special order. When I had my R33, I only ever let 1 or 2 of my closest mates drive it. Even when I sold it, there were no test drives until a substancial deposit was received. I actually tried teaching my girlfriend how to drive stick in it aswell, but thats about it! hhaha

If your looking for a bargain, check out the average condition 99 model vspec at e&m motors for only $70k! I was driving past today, curiosity got the better of me and i couldnt help but pop in to see how much more the exterior has deteriorated from taking the aussie weather 24/7. Its been sitting outside for over a year and they are still not negotiable on the price. But wait theres more! Only 37000k's and log books to prove it (although when i asked to see the books - they couldnt provide, suprise suprise.)
