not trying to deter you by any means tho mitch, just saying that if you are highly academic or have any other opportunities to get into something else then i say DO IT. just hope being a mechanic isnt your last option and your just going with it.

Ive been down this road and done this whole apprenticeship. i got qualified just over a year ago. if i can give you any advice mate, id be looking for an aprenticship in being a chippy/plumber/sparky etc... anything but a mechanic. seriously dude, as good as it is to know how to fix your own car... trust me, it is helpful... but the crap you have to go through and the lousy pay really dont cut the mustard. Im that over this profession that ive lost a lot of passion for cars and the last thing i want to be doing in my spare time is fixing bloody cars..... if you need any advice though on what steps to follow in regards to becoming a tech, PM me ill give ya some pointers

my series 2 33 4 door is for sale, can do for 13k with stock wheels, mint condish and is almost stock except for exhaust clutch and cooler. its in SA for sale thread. the series 2 33's are far better IMO and this thing doesnt even get a second look from the cops. also Im lookin for swaps, whats your Mzz20 like?

hopefully you caught it in time and the internal trans cooler hasnt started to leak into the radiator, otherwise you'll have a strawberry milkshake in your trans before you know it, best of luck

keep spotting a black 34 GTT around the port rd/south rd intersection most days after work about 5 15... this guy drives like a twat... if your on here mate, 1. you cant drift or even hold a car sideways for shit and 2. you almost took out my rear quarter the other day, wayy too close and im not Fkn happy

nissan put the original lights in there because they were good quality and good looking, i for one agree with them. where as the LED ones kinda ruin the rear of the car, way to obvious and bright.... im not a fan of the cartoys/speeddreams look. at the end of the day its your descision,
