last week i spilt about 2 litres of used oil in my garage for some reason i keep thinking of a product called "liquid magnet" it was from those dodgy info-mercials some time ago on tv..

credit transactions can be disputed if you believe you did not participate in it...and you have a good chance of winning if the card wasnt swiped thru the machine and/or receipt isnt signed...card schemes will always be biased towards their members in these types of disputes... this is why merchants who accept internet/mail/phone payments take a huge risk, as all liability lies with them... in your case there is no dispute as merchant having realised the mistake corrected the error by performing a credit transaction which is within the rules and regulations of all card schemes.

they are very cheap and somewhat ok, but u better off spending a bit more and getting decent stuff...

welcome aboard mate..hope u enjoy your stay.. i am not sure if wheel alignment is the problem there, most likely out of balance wheels or few other reasons...but do get an alignment anyways.. i always go to Traction tyres in Rowville, they do an awesome job..

50 odd thousand.. but the car felt very tight and was/is very very clean inside and out and it wasnt moded apart from cat back and filter... i was very patient, it took 8 months to find her, but was worth the effort, and i enjoyed/still enjoy modding her slowly over the years to my taste.

go for the newest and the cleanest car u find, most likely a s2 R33 in that price range.. i had my s2 r33 for almost 5 years, i have put on about 80,000 ks in that time, and not a single thing has gone wrong!! be carfeul and dont buy a tired car, it will cost you on the long run.

u can try resetting the ecu, or do what i did go see a reputable tuner, if he is good he will fix it for you.. if u are in melb let me know, i know a good tuner that can help.

lol @ Duncan.. sounds like u might have a 2 way locked diff..if so the symptoms are normal..

i would advise against the tube idea even if you can find one for your wheel as they are not the safest things going around (excuse the punt) as someone suggested best thing is to get it repaired by wheel repairers.

I have done a bit of search but couldnt find what i am after hence this thread.. Car is a series 2 R33 GTS-t, 3inch dump/front pipe high flow cat and HKS cat back. HKS air filter Front mount cooler 2.5 inch stainless custom pipes Power FC arriving next week Before i get the PFC tuned i am thinking of a turbo upgrade. I am aware of the off the shelf items and their cost but wondering about high flowing the stock one. I am thinking of changing the exhaust wheel similar to the sierra one (similiar to TO4O), with machining. As well as that also changing the centre housing to mate with the new back wheel, and replacing the compressor with a 56 mm v2. As this is a hybrid setup, i am asking for opinions on lag and potential power output. I am after around 250rwkw. This set up is gonna cost around $800, please do post your ideas. Cheers

i have a similiar problem with my FMIC i installed on saturday... i seem to have less torque but the boost has definately increased, feels less laggy with boost coming on quicker, and there are flat spots thru the rev range with a huge one when cold...overall power loss is obvious, engine doesnt feel as strong i guess i am sufering from the series2 R33 GTS-T computer problem with the ECU running rich and retarding timing... just ordered a Power FC to remedy the problem..

well after Ford's acquisition of Jag, they initiated the s-type project and unfortunately used a lot of ford bits... but i also read somewhere that although parts were ford, Jag engineers modified them heavily... sounds like though they didnt do a great job with the tranny.
