  8. anyone know a speacilist workshop who prepares/restores cars(old) to be painted? i been cutting rust and replacing panels of my datsun 1600 for a couple of weeks now to get it back on the road. Mate of mine and I can do most of the bodywork ourselves but need someone with experience/skill to bog the body getting it all straight and ready for paint. I am not after panel shops, as they might either knock back the job or do a half hearted job to get it out of the shop as soon as possible. Instead I am looking for someone who will take their time putting lots of love into the job. Perhaps a shop that works on old cars/hot rods or even a back yarder who is experienced in body straightening. If i have no luck finding someone as above, i will look into more mainstream panel shops.

  12. i was thinking the same thing but given all the responses i thought i read wrong... considering it was about $40 or $50 dollars(cant remember exactly) about ten years ago, and given the increase in the cost of living in ten years, $15-25 is not that much of an increase..

  15. How about a camping cruise?? drive up to Licola on a friday evening to camp out in the Alpine National Park, drive back on sunday.. the drive up there is great once you get off the highway and the climb up the mountain is sealed and very twisty with sensational views...sure to impress. basically you are camping in the national park amongst hill tops and the river, which has some nice trout for the fishing enthusiast and the wildlife comes out in force at night . Make sure to hide your food.. just a thought.
