give police rd panels a call, speak to harry, tell him you are from the skyline forums. he doesnt like rolling the guards as the paint usually cracks so he suggested he shave some of the inside of the lip.. worked a treat, dont rub, cant tell its been cut and looks 100 times better than a rolled guard.

i was in michael's car on the weekend and it was driving fine... he had about 230rwkw.. only thing i noticed was a slight miss at idle but that could be a number of other things..

my r33, although not an R, has done 170,000k (i bought it at 40,000k some 7 years ago), drives me to city and back everyday, has double the factory rwkws, and is one of the cleanest most reliable examples around if i say so myself... but i have taken care of the old girl meticulously, the only things going wrong with the car in 7 years being a pin sized hole in one of the coolant hoses, and now the drivers window switch starting to get loose, but still works... the moral of the story is nissan makes good skylines and if the car has been looked after, 100,000k is no problem
