it was peaceful man, since most trips for me have been on the go overseas. but went to some spunnout caves in yallingup, what do ya think of my camera work? nick might like a few of my pictures. and a tree top walk in the state forest, moar pics later. good to stretch the legs of the stagea and fishing off peaceful bay was choice. avoided metallica and was gonna go to no sleep till and southbound but didnt. waiting for soundwave. went to gorillaz, lp and xavier rudd though. new years eve was a mellow one, bbq with mates. startn a new IT job for mining company soon - 8 days on and 6 days off. fly in, fly out and accomodation. MCITP cert. payed off big time.

sorta correct. you need a t30 torx key for starters hugh, after you get the side covers off there are two torx bolts, this releases the airbag module -note: do not turn ignition on when airbag and horn is not connected, it can throw an error. and you can just pull the airbag fuse in the engine bay. make sure airbag error light goes off when plugged back in. GL

we did christchurch, dunedin, wellington, kaikoura, omaru, lake tekapo, queenstown, frans josef, nelson, picton, te anau, greymouth and then took our 4WD across on the interislander to the north island as far up as hastings and napier. not in that order of course. going back in 6 months to visit friends and do snowboarding and see lake tahpo and rotorua (rotavegas). wanna see the far north such as whangerie and the the Bay of Plenty. volcanic pools would be good aswell and my mrs wont skydive so she wants me to hot air balloon across the canterbury plains with her. lol. btw queenstown is the best for adventure sports, did you do any? nz is just a magical place. i will find more photos. at work atm.

thats just craziness and yeah but call me sensible, i would never spend that amount of coin, time or effort. lol. yet to hear how this engine goes in awd form. ive seen a VH45DETT drag car make 1500hp @ 10 000rpm, i think thats enough room to play with. i have read some better stuff on the VH41DE. from what i can gather not much fabrication involved or VK or VQ motor needed or expensive CVT gearbox rebuilds. no thnx. this and off the shelf parts availabilty is the main reason why i didnt buy a M35 when i bought my second stagea. i wish i had the series 1 RS rwd widely available in nz for nothing. would be easier imo. what are the torque figures like in your VH45DE, i bet the power is much more linear without + T. rwd conversion in the 14 seems sorta straight forward but this will be based around the awd Y32/33 cima coupling to a awd C34 platform, heaps of info from the US regarding 450sx. not much on awd cima. but i heard diff ratios to be 3.90.1 what is your 180 putting out atm? will you + T and any tips? do you know kevin and his V8 Z32 aswell? small world after all.

i keep getn info on rwd 450sx which a few forum members have done easily. but i am tryn to get more info for my mate that has done one in a 300zx and might help Top Racing with the build. im gonna become members with a nz discussion group that know simon (puremethamphetamachine) and have done a VH41DE conversion into a stag. i might just crate the VH41DE up and buy in a week from a good source in the US. they want to get hold of as many RB30 blocks as possible, they go for a premium price. ironic that.

cmon lets be reasonable and pull your head out of your arsefor a minute and have a sensible conversation, instead of turning this thread into mud. vq parts are admittably hard to get locally or overseas. the vk45 is a different matter even the vq is seeming old now a days. and pm mad how much did you pay for that vq35de that you are gonna keep standard. 1900hp, at least it made me lawl. ps: bob i have been on that website, it is affiliated to SAU. their xmas run with simon from rotarua to auckland wouldve been choice. will be back in nz in june for a burial.
