  3. Thanks for the pm RB30DETT for the info on the loom and ecu side of things. This thread is interesting. Cheers kidafa. Have found a few discrepancies though. 33 loom should give you more options. Bob, I think reverse is wired to the gearbox? Been eagerly watchn your build Mr. Rogers. for a cheap way out. lol
  4. LEDs. pfft Gheyness factor +11ty. lol
  5. Cheap S1 tail lights left. VGC, 50 buckaroos + delivery. Other parts out when my mate finishes his 300ZX / VH45DE build nxt week. S1 front brakes complete with 100% brand new Acre jap pads and factory discs available also. Offers?
  6. For those in WA that are interested in yelling abuse at Mark Webber. Will be a good day out. Well worth it. AAC Festival of Speed
  7. Sure dale. I bet youve just been trolling in the wasteland. lol. Good to see you back here. So how is your garden of eden coming along? Those fancy chillis look like absolute priders, I have some trinidad scorpion seeds that I ordered from the US last year, along with . As you know, very fkn hot man.I was going to grow them over winter with the aid of a heated propagation tray. Now coming into summer, I think I might just stick them in a pot and give it a go. After travelling to Malaysia and Thailand I reckon I have tasted some of the hottest chillis know to man. I was tired of sayn, not too spicy please. Crazy sweats.
  8. Bumpity.. Happy Birthday for last week chuckie.
  9. Done and done Bob. This makes things alot easier. Secured complete RS4S box, rear end and tailshaft ftw.
  10. Packed up for you and ready to go Hugh. Same delivery address in Qld mate? Only tail lights left atm, ONO ppls. EOI on other major parts.
  11. How is, ryan?. Im completing a MCITP Enterprise Administrator certification atm. I got to brush up on my AD and group policy. Has been a total head fark compared to Server 2003. Its really hard to "unlearn" something and do it the Microsoft way. Ill see where this industry qual gets me, bloody cost me enough. At least its not the CNNP yet. Ive been working in the private sector with VOIP and VMWare as of late. Its been too long since i last picked up my strat, you've inspired me again man.
  12. You can get a RS4V lower lip for that front bar mate. I have one from my first stagea if you be interested.
  13. I turned down the GTS4 box because of condition. I now have the option of buying a cheap R32 GTR or RS4S box and complete rear end. They of course vary in price but i am leaning towards using the RS4S for the factory 4.08 viscous LSD. Win -win situation.
  14. As I've said before you can use s15, R34 GTT and R34 GTR, connectors for airbag and horn fit. Be careful with clock spring and pull the fuse. Smaller, sportier feel and less boat like. They are all relatively the same and cascade usually in price depending on model. R34 GTR steering wheel
  15. I was talkn to chuckie regarding these the other week when he was showing his braided lines. They are worth it. I need some speed bleeders for my mrs atm. It's that time of the month. lol
  16. Voltage spike Duncan? Hugh i would only look into this if you had pulled something electrical apart. If so, serves you right old man for tinkering. lol
  17. +1. What kidafa said. No need to upgrade bmc unless faulty or track car. Same size as GTR (BM50), but vspec and N1 bmc is an upgrade.
  18. IMO dont fck around too much with the camber. With coilovers or lowered the rear wheels naturally tend to lean in, and result in chewing the inside of the tyres. This occurs because it physically works against the multi link independant rear suspension of the stagea. Ppl use camber kits as a cheap workaround for looks, but dont reliase they are just complicating suspension components when they should concerntrate on strenghtening them. Let me emphasise again - buy rims that fit with a 9" width and good tyres. Offset and disc type is the key to a successfull fit. Remember always equate fitting bigger brakes behind them.
  19. Check their website for sizing and weight. Tangles has these wheels in 18s, i think. Do you have a RS4S or RS4? Wider rear track needs offset to be higher at the rears. Swapping cradles sorts that. I got cr kais 17 x 9 +23. IMO get good tyres and rims that fit your car well. Try not to use spacers.
  20. IMO buy the R34 version of the momo wheel for your 260rs. Do you have paypal? Shoot me a pm and i will run through buying with you. Remember to double the auction price for delivery ex Japan. If you dont want to wait 2-4 weeks to get the steering wheel from Japan, there is a R34 GTR wheel for sale somewhere here.
  21. Cryptic man. I know what you mean Tangles, i got one of them coming up. You need a holiday. TFIF. Have a different kinda black dog day.
  22. Hugh pictures would help alot. Checking for a leak is too obvious, but sometimes well worth it. A twice over the vacuum hoses would be advisable. I would check the AFM. IIRC, didnt you have to relocate the battery and plumb back the factory bov in another area for installation of the FFP? Check that. Unlikely factory ecu IMO. Duncan's car was a bit different because he ran a manual. Not much chance of eratic idle, hunting or stalling -but autos always. Have you done the constant voltage mod. Do you run a SAFC or SITC with the manual boost controller? Dunno about getn into fuel cut as a scenario atm. TPS, standard rail, old fuel pump and dirty fuel filter, cleaned AAC valve lately -the list goes on mate? Is it running rich, might be dumping fuel. Just want to get down to the simple things. Is this your sons 25G? Pity if it is. This is why im going manual to avoid a few S1 auto issues. Time for a GTST box in the RWD G??
