Heya hugh. I saw some RS models and 25Gs in Christchurch and at yards in Qld a few years back. I mentioned that these rwd models in S1 and S2 were great value and generally cheaper than an RS four. Most S1s interiors are poverty pack, but recieved a huge facelift with the S2 RS. Tangents and a few other members on this forum have one. But yours is the first S1 I think? All are in auto/tiptronic and n/a and are significantly lighter than the 4WD platform. If you can get one cheap enuf you can manual convert and turbo up easily. I recall hearing that there is gonna be a few manual rwd n/a M35s available for compliance soon too. How much did you pay because i know that these are really cheap and widely available in NZ. But somewhat sort after in Oz.

i was a bit harsh lookn back on it, lol but i finally got a result from the M35 owners. Blow a bit of wind up their skirts and they deliver. Seen these headrests on U.S ebay, nice addition for the stag.

Yeah its one of the first things i changed. Except i used a GTT steering wheel for 180 pesos holmes. u can use S15 aswell- cheap. GTR ones are 300 upwards. Just to clarfy is yours the *R34* momo trispoke shape from later stags and 260rs (99- 2001)? These are ridiculously expensive, only seen them in jap auctions. I had no probs with the airbag etc. btw nice pics of your interior nick. Not OTT and comfortable and functional. Money well spent.

I have seen R32/33/34 seats used but are a fortune to retrim, often more than the seats are worth. I tried a bride brix II but by f**k it was uncomfortable. Can someone confirm that these seats rails are a fair bit lower? I know they are oem and bolt straight in for C34s. Anyone used 32 gtst or S15 seats?

Noice. Sounds like you spent up a bit. These are some good examples I found just to kick it off whilst people are gettn photos. Some boot shots would be great of custom amp installs etc. Whers the classy M35s?

I remember this one, decent stack. I have a good story - but a picture tells a 1000 words. I'll try and dig up some pictures of my first stag crumpled, on its side in a ditch with a twisted chassis and snapped front axle from sheared rusty hub bolts. lol. Yeah I can vouch for their 5 star safety, thats why i bought another one. -
What have you done to make your stag that much more functional and comfortable? This includes custom interiors, stereos, tv /dvd players, sub box installs, nav systems, dash upgrades, steering wheels, guages, bucket seats, alarms etc.

Yeah and GTT. Do you have to disable the vct if using certain cams? So your telling me a 25 NEO head is better than using a 26? I think thats debatable. We all know the bottem line on bottem endz, lol. GL with ya build mr.spencer. I reckon i struck out on strokers, maybe simon and duncan could shed some light. Be interesting to know what the specs are on the turbo u will be using. Either which way you will be enjoying the car. Just bouncing round some ideas.

GTiR and GTR have solid lifters and ITBs as standard equipment. 26 head on a 30 is the way to go but we are talkn RB25DET or Neo VVt so both is good. Duncan has gone about this correctly, but if your after big hp think again. In my opinion it is still much easier to build a rwd VL with this setup by not f**king around with various understated costs and the adaptor plate needed for the 4WD sump issues as Tangles has said before. I might word Ska up on it ,lol. Ultimate summernats bogan mobile.

Yeah, I have just thrown this one out there cause I know that the 2.8l tomei stroker kit is a direct fit for 25s and 26s now and OS Giken have had a RB30DETT package for a while. Of course more cubes, ideal compression and better rod/stroke ratio is going to lenghthen the life of a motor with more torque and at same revs. I remembered after that simon from nz had a tomei kit and has proved good power figures, I have not seen the dyno results for a 25/30 build compared on a level playing field, let alone on the road. What i do know is that logistically adding RB30 gear is not as simple as perceived, from reading the (RB30 forum section) and have always wondered why not go full blown RB30 like bob is going for instead of the 25/30 and 26/30 combo and save the f**k around? The parts needed for this type of build do need a fair bit of overengineering and i know that RB30 blocks are cheap as, hence why people think they should do this in the first place but dont figure in the rest. Just want to see what is best bang for your buck across the board when spending this sort of money. Sorry to question Uncle Duncs opinion, but no one else seems to want to, lol. I still think going on others users builds that you have not factored in a accurate drive in / drive out price. Dont get me wrong your infinite wisdom is appreciated. NZ has the best experience with drag applications and info on these builds aswell. Check out Rotorua Import Pro Shop (RIPS). They are over this scenario and are moving on to 1400hp RB33s. I suppose it all comes down to budget and purpose.

edit* seen your parting with the stagea world. So many ppls selln. Shame. Spose u still got the 34 and a 4wd. It took a while. I would of, if i couldve man. What a steal, now i dont feel so bad about the nismo sideskirts, lol. How much did it go for ? Did you remove the brembos - i'll pm u about it. I would have.

Geez bud. Thats steep. But sorta justified. Msports180 has one of the best deals goin atm in WA. There is a sea of RS4s and 260s for sale interstate. Must be good. Looked at your link not much info. List of mods and parts used pleez.
