Just get a new Deck. All the skylines i have had in the past had shitty Headunits. they never played any cds. U can get a nice new headunit for a good price these days, and buy a harness(cheap) to connect the Aftermarket headunit cables to the factory headunit cables. Done. very very easy.

i just got my self the CDA - 117e. Love the unit. easy to use and sounds very clear. loads of SQ settings. you can connect Aux on it through the pre- outputs. i have seen the option in the manual and also when i press the source button. maybe some one can clarify this.

Turn the LOUD feature "ON" on the headunit. it made a huge difference on mine. even though it says its only for low volume. try PUT the SLA up so u have more volume, if its low... i had a similar problem with a similar setup (deh-p4050). i played around with the settings and managed to get nice loud bass. Also as said above, face the sub towards the back of the car. i tried all angles and found that it sounded best that way.

Hey justin, mine does the same too. but i noticed that if i turn off/on(cant remember which one) the circulation, the fan speed increases. But i bet u have already tried that. PS: just realized i replied in an old topic lool

Hey guyz, I have some questions and need some help. I have searched already but they dint answer my questions. i was driving yesterday and i noticed my car making a knocking sound from the front drivers side wheel area when driving on bumpy roods or over a hump. It was not very loud but very noticeable. When i reached home i tried pushing the car down with my hands and i could hear the same noise from the wheel area. i tried checking underneath but couldnt figure out what it was. ...Today when i got into the car to drive to work the noise was not there anymore. i tried pushing the car down on the same area with my hands and nothing. I even went over a drain thingy to see if it made any noise but nothing. PS: When the car was making the knocking noise the handing was not affected and the car still felt very smooth and sturdy. I am lost and don't know what would cause this? Any help will be appreciated

in the last month i have jump started about 12 cars lol. I work at a Servo and we get many people who have flat batteries. and i feel like i am the only one who has jumpers lol I was helped by a lady once when my skyline battery went flat. She pushed the car for me and since then i try to help others.

Hey guyz i bought new Xenon's from a store here in Perth. And they are not bright at all. I previously bought $19 ones from another store and they were very bright. These new ones were for $40 so i thought they will be bright but they are very crap. I cant even notice them on. I have to switch on my foglights/spotlight (r33 Series 2 ones) to see at night. They are 55watts. made in australia. If i get 100watt ones will my wiring melt? or will it cause any problems?

my r33 did the exact thing when i blocked off the BOV. UNbrocked and probrem sorved
