Hi guys,
The other day I got some new plates, and I knew someone wrote a thread here before on how to fit them.
I went to Bunnings to buy the screws for the front and the back. They are both 1/4 inch thick. I think for the front I bought 25mm Length, and for the back I bought 35mm.
I needed something for the spacer for the front and for the rear as I didnt want to bend my plates. While I was looking for screws in Bunnings right next to it they were selling grommets.
I purchased 10 grommets all up, they are all black, and have a bit of spring in them too.
For the front I used two grommets per screw and made it fit nice and tight, looks really neat.
And for the rear I used three grommets per screw and once again it created a nice tight fit, enough pressure on the grommets for a firm fit due to the spring action, and it looks neat. The plates didn't have t be bent on the ends.
