  2. Same thing happened with my 33 GTS-T turns out it was coil packs failing the way i found out was i pulled my plugs and closed up the gap .1 or .2 If this stops the missfire or reduces it under boost its time for some new coil packs and spark plugs to
  3. Yea bangers blue one will be quite a weapon from what i hear mate of mine was lined up to buy it, but didnt have the money so he bought bangers old white daily with an NA RB20 in it
  4. Me and the missus should be able to make it Should be a lot of fun
  5. ah right ill have a search and see what i can find TO4Z would create some decent power lol
  6. cheers for that i wasnt aware that it was only a test package lol bubba: i have read the subforum. from what i understand the 26 head will bold straight up, just needs a little modification, but not as much as the 25. i will probably be in touch when i start the build
  7. mmm i wonder if its the same one im looking at then....... The one im looking at is from a company called Spool Imports is it that same one?
  8. Hey guys im about to embark on an engine build for my R33 GTS-T The engine will be a RB30 block, with an RB26 head with twin turbos. i was looking on the net and came across a website that sells a 3.4L stroker kit for an RB30 I was wondering if putting that in would be much of a gain? iv searched the forum and cant find anyone that has done it. It would give me more displacement and torque obviously, but i guess that would also cut the ability to rev down as well Would it be worth it? cheers
  9. great eastern hwy jus after abernethy road heading towards roe hwy. all the trucks have torn it up and created awesome ruts in the road stupid trucks :S
  10. any place shoulde have them man Try pirtek or couplers, they are normally pretty good make sure the tap is the right size and thread pitch the most important thing (and the obvious one) is make sure you REMOVE the pipe before even thinking about getting the drill and tap. if you leave any swarf inside that pipe then your engine WILL NOT like it lol
  11. you can buy stud removers from any tool shop for a rlativly cheap price try that
  12. just to drop in another idea which i found on a mates car the other day. Same deal, would hunt on idle nd run rough on idle. What was happening was the bushes on the throttle body were worn, allowing the butterfly shaft to "wander" and would not seal properly, hence sucking air through the bushes bypassing the air flow meter to check, i grabbed the throttle and pushed it closed. when i did this the car almost stalled and hunted worse than ever i have never seen it before on a skyline, but just one of those weird things that happens
  13. i have a standard BOV with pod filter ad it sounds great. it flutters nice but it can also be quiet when i want and its not illegal
  14. you could try velcro dont know how well that will hold but its worth a shot. U could always drill a hole in your dash.......... lol in my car, i went out and bought a cheap useless guage, like volts or something like that, then wired that up. So the hole is covered by something that does something but is useless
  15. Mike vallely ate dans chevy chase
  16. haha mate dont worry about that Ryan got done for that when he had the car, wind up the coilies and youl be fine
  17. mate id be happy with 315 and 1/4 left I have a series 1.5 R33 GTS-T with exactly the same mods as u, (Except splitfire coil packs) and i only get about 320 to a full tank city driving. Stock computers run mega rich man, and even more so when u boost them coz the stock computer is un-tuneable. An full standalone would be the way to go, because then you can get all your parameters changed depending on if u want power or economy, or a balance of both.
  18. haha wel yea but you see my point
  19. mmm yea but mainly us. (us being skylines, WRX's, silvias etc.) If we, as upstanding citizens going to work, decide one day that we would go to work and pick on our poor workmate, day in day out, then eventually he would complain and we would get the sack or a serious reprimand because its workplace discrimination. I personally do not see the differance between that example and the police. Their workplace is out in public and we are the "workmates"
  20. looks stolen it has a reported sticker on it
  21. adds a nice touch to that part of great eastern
  22. Just put a resistor in series before the guage That should dim it somewhat:) Or a variable dimmer also in series before the guage will work as well
  23. hey man pulling the guages out to change the globe is not really a big deal on my 33 its a matter of 5 screws and the whole guage assembly will pull out then u just gotta work out which globe it is then pull it i just had to pull the whole dash assembly out of mine to replace the heater core :S Ouch:S
  24. http://www.glennevancustoms.com/crystalite.htm found the website for anyone interested dunno how its legal but anyways
