  6. if it's an older model you hold the button with the "clock" symbol and use the "1" and "2" keys to adjust the time
  7. The motorised lip is not exclusive to R32's i have seen them on R33's too

  9. you can still use a single input tv just buy one of those 3 - 1 AV input selectors from jaycar. It has three inputs which are switchable to a single output. I have a DVD player input in one and a digital camera input in the other (to display my pictures or film while moving by hanging the camera out of the car and using the tv screen as a view finder) and the third i want to use as a front bumper cam or rear cam.
  10. MP denotes that it is MP3 compatible too
  11. Why don't you just hook them up to the door switch and they only come on when you open the door? or relay them from the power supply to the bulb so that you could switch them on from the interior light swtich too?
  12. wow could you please post a step by step breakdown of what is involved? i know it's a big ask but that would rock. Riceee this may be a dumb question but have you checked the fuse and or plug? sometimes it;s the simple things
  13. there are 2 that i know of one is 10GB and the other is 20GB since it's basically just a hard drive i can't see why it wouldn't be able to play wav files it'll all depend on the software
  14. If it wasn't for Bridgestone Expedia SO2s' i'd be pushing up daisys so they are my pick, i have a pair or SO3s' going on soon so i'll let you know what they're like.
  15. when you turn on the ignition and you have ABS there will be an ABS or Anti-lock warning light.
  16. well this unit is still on their website http://www.justjap.com/Welcome_Page.htm
  17. it's not the function button you need to press it's the "b" button on the remote (see pic of remote) From memory you turn off the ignition, hold down the 7 or 1 & 7 button then turn on the ignition, you should now be able to select the AUX source. Great thread though
  18. good for you please post pics of the finished product
  19. This should be a placed as a sticky to the top for future reference to many
  20. I'm impressed that is an awesome FAQ and step-by-step break down of the process involved. Unfortunately this came too late for me and i have had to learn this all the hard way Just one question why did you not use the DEH-P990? this is a great unit and has many functions, such as eq settings, DSP and even listener positioning? i know it isn't an MP3 unit but considering you have a DVD/mp3 player it wouldn't matter. Note that the features that i listed and more are only available using the remote by pressing the "B" button PS : i only sold the DEHP990 to buy an MEHP9900
  21. i know that pioneer have the ability to plug rcas to an adaptor that connects to the cd conroller input of the stereo and i'm sure that other brands have the same thing. just buy these or get head unit that has a direct input and go out and buy an ipod they're under 1000 and then you have music on the move. they have usb input, fire wire, are more resistant to shock (compared to a pc's hard drive) and you can plug head phones into it too.
  22. WOW this is extreme but i think a little unnecessary. If you are not using a head deck how are you getting sound to the amp or speakers? or is the LCD monitor intergrated with a tuner or eq? and if you did run the amps straight off of the xbox how will you control the volume? can the xbox fit under the seat or in the boot and just control it with the controller? saving the dash? how about locating it to the glovebox?
