In my opinion, I like using the FREE RUN cars set to drift. It's not as fast but it's intresting.
-
yeah it does it feels just like my car when i go sideways... its even more fun when you use a steering wheel with GT3 but GT4 WILL be better... i can wait
-
You guys should see the Mustang GT-Rs in the 'States. Most American mustang owners don't even know what the GTR means, they just see some Japanese cars with big Rs. GT + R must equal cool or something.
-
use this stuff called Plexus. it works wonders!!!
-
-
its a RSX yeah i think the PC is a little scary lol but if you think that hissing is a turbo think again... lol
-
check out whats under this guys HOOD its crazy...
-
yeah the same with me. i set them with my standards then tune them after that... what settings do you use as your "Trial Tune"? the way i set mine is, Tires Super Soft in the front and Med in the rear, I get the best in ALL the mods. I tune the suspention slammed... then the bound and rebound one step down on the front, camber 0 front 3 rear, tranny i make the gearing to the middle for the max of both worlds , then i just play around with thows settings... after i do a trial run.
-
o maybe my freind can post them on his site and do it that way? ill try guys
-
there is this cleaner that i use for paintball masks called Plexus its really good it also cleans ANY plastic/lexan its good stuff but if you have thick cuts/pits in your headlight try Novic1,2,3 they are a bit stronger than Plexus you can get them from dealers that sell motorcycles... you can go to this site and read what they say these guys are crazy they detail there cars for 3-5hrs for fun... autopia

-
I C your driftin on a buget lol well then look into the K's Office suspention that should be your MAIN focus. that one simple mod will help you the most out of all
-
HEY i want those toy cars hehe at D1GP USA (first one in the US) they had remote control cars with drift spec tires THEY were so COOL the guy was driftin a little hachiroku R/C car around. my freind has ALL of the Initial D videos and they are all in Japanesse so they dont sound all stupid like cantanize or whatever...
-
I have LOADS of drift videos but dont know how to put them up here? ill post em if you guys help me a 33 could be drifted just set your center diff to rear and set it up from there.
-
first thing you can do is tires. if you can TRY to get ADVAN Neova's that tire has been made specificly for drifting!!! (all D1GP drivers use them.) then get new/stiff suspention for a Skyline try to get a K's Office suspention (perfect for drifting as they are made by the "Drift King" Tshuciya's company) and also a shinny new LSD

CAMS and drifting, drift is cool now?
nerces replied to FIL's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
hell yeah just have Orido or Tshuciya to come over and bust out they can drift ANYTHING!!! lol -
yeah its not concidered adjustable. if you want adjustable get the type Flex ones they are the best ones they make...
-
lots of people think that, but its not. its all about controlling the slide to get the fastest speed out of the corner while being sideways. drifting is just a sport in its own class...
-
i think you can find it here but im not sure... you can buy it at a motorsports garage... Best Motoring
-
no its not jap drifting is pointing the nose of the car at the exit angle of the turn. drifting can be done by 6 different methods. 1) E-brake 2) Shift-lock 3) braking 4) Fainto 5) Power over 6) Dynamic if you really REALLY want to know and want to buy a kick ass DVD you should get the Speacial edition Best Motoring Drift Bible it is bad ass. Keiichi Tsuchiya is teaching you how to properly drift "funkymonkey" when does it stop being a drift and become a powerslide. it becomes a power slide when you loose traction after the turn has passed, if you slide and hold it anywere before during or just before the end or the corner is drifting, you could use power sliding for drifting also you can power slide one way and when you regain traction it tosses you to the other direction and you use that as a "Dynamic" drift it is really simple after you watch that Video its cool shit.

Drift Competition's rules, who knows???
nerces replied to AkEaKe's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
well the way drifting is juged is... the car that goes sideways the farthest gets more points. they look at the "Clipping point" and see how fast you are going ( you need to keep your speed high ) there is a bunch of factors to the winning car in a drift comp. go to this site and look at what they look for in winning drifters Club 4AG they are a local Drift club here in the US were im at. we just had the very first D1GP comp in the USA it was awsome Manabu Orido and Keiichi Tsuchiya were the juges its was awsome. ill post pics later -
what suspention setup do you guys feel is the best for road racing? i was looking at TEIN type FLEX coilovers... what do you guys think? i have a 92 civic hatchback with the teins already and it handles great. do any of you have Teins on there R33's ? this will be for a R33 GTR.
