  1. Hi guys, i was about to put 4k $ in parts on my 180 000 km 25det. I had the idea to take a compression test before doing it. I got these results. 125-125-125-120-125-125 It's pretty even but i'm not sure it can handle 400 rwhp for a long time... So as a mechanic, should i do a rebuild of my motor? should i try to drop the parts in and pray? I know that my battery is almost dead, so i guess the compression should be around 140. But still, the engine got 180 k... If the budget let me breath, i could drop a set of forged pistons. What do ya think? Cheer!
  2. Where i live, in Canada, the temperature didn't drop bye one for the past 3 weeks lol. It should begin shortly though. WOt = wide open throttle.
  3. I understand what you are saying. I tried to run 9 psi and it doesn't change anything. I do have the stock ecu but i use to ran 12 psi for the past 2 months without any troubles so..
  4. Here it is... First of all the car is a serie 1 R33 rb25det with 12 psi on stock turbo, stock intercooler, and greddy profec b spec II boost controller. I have a hesitation under boost. At WOT, the boost drop to 8 psi then goes up to 12 psi within 1 second and it's always doing it! I can see the variation very well on the boost controller. It has been doing it for the past 3 days and i can't see any causality reasons to it... Is there someone here who might know the problem??   5. No it's not, you should have the orange label. I think that the blue one is from a Q45 engine.

  7. Do you know what is the size of the vacuum hose on a rb25det? isn't 4 mm?
  8. Well, that's it. Do you know if a R32 GTR nismo 260 km/h will fit a r33 dash?
  9. I agree to that 100%. But i'm a mechanic so it won't cost me that much. I live in Montreal, Canada. I'm not sure but the price of those parts seems to be cheaper here. I can get a nice nismo pump for 300 can $ tax in. Honnestly, i was thinking about a z32 maf, z32 ecu, nismo fuel pump, 550 cc injectors, gt3076r and a clutch of course. Do i really have to get a power fc?
  10. I'm looking for 425 hp on the engine not at the weels. I surely wanna go with a 3076r but i'm just not sur going IW or EW. I prefer IW cause i do not want to change my manifold but still... Another thing, i'll keep the stock internal so i don't think a stock rb25 can push a gt3540 that easily!
  11. The car now have a blitz exhaust, frountmount intercooler, greddy profec-b spec 2 boost controller (wich i don't know how to set %?%$&/ ), stock turbo and internal. I might go with gt3076r. Should i go ported internal or external westgate? I need advice for a setup with a budget around 4000$. Thanks!

  13. Hi guys, i'm new to this forum. First of all, i'm one of your old brother from Montreal (North America). I'm about to buy an intercooler, probably from garrett and i want to know wich size i have to pick. I do have an aftermarket bumber. Is 24" length, 10,3" height and 3,5 " of depth ok?
