My 32 does that too in the wet when going though round-a-bouts i always jsut put it down to having poor quality tyres on the car???

Hey man just finished putting a new turbo on my 32. I went for a 33 highflowed by hypergear straight swap they suppley you with a new oil line and you need to cut a bit off the heat sheild to make it fit. Also you need a 33 intake elbow for the top of the turbo. Seems pretty good so far havent had it tuned yet so cant really give you any info there. Boost comes on about 4000 pulls hard at about 4500. Pretty easy to install hope this helps a little.

Just went and spun the fan goes for about 1 full spin then stops feels pretty stiff too no oil leaking out fans in good nick.........

Sorry to bring up my old post but i still cant get my temp down ive bleed the system more then 5 times using all the suggested ways but it still sits at 90deg at idle and when i give it a bit the temp hit 100+ and takes over 20min to come back down. Realished tonight that my fan clutch/hub is always on and working?? Really over this so any help is appreciated.

Thanks. I guess I'll put the bonnet back down and re-bleed the system. Might aswell ask what the "correct" way to bleed the system while I'm at it.

Radiator is factory turbo is low mount and the bonnet was up before the turbo install. There just seems to be a super amount of hot air at the front of the engine.

Just finished putting a new turbo on the 32 everthing is all sweet there. But now it runs super hot always hovering around the 85-90deg area the car has a new waterpump new thermostat new hose's new thermo housing have just heat wrapped the dump pipe and have a beanie on the way for the turbo, even have the bonnet lifted at the back. Car does have a FMIC but there is plenty of room between it and the Radiator, radiator is in very good condition as well. Any ideas? Thanks

Wow these cars are popular im surprised there arent more ppl getting into them ?? Everyone seems to like them. Guess it just come down to the cost compaired to the 34

Would love to test drive one just to get a feel for them compaired to a skyline. Dont get me wrong i would love a R34 but at the same time just want something a little different to every one else in the crowd lol

Yeah not many manuals kicking around but ill be more then happy to wait for the perfect one to pop up before buying Is there much after-market support for them?

Mmm no hidden turbo timer I've had the dash apart to install my own blitz turbo timmer (which was turned off when noises where happerning) and Defi gauges ( no warning lights or sounds on them either)

Yeah the little warning box for your lights and keys was taken out awhile ago. So I've crossed that one off the list.

Yeah sound is a long warning like beeeeeep coming from the dashboard near the left knee area LOL. Sounds happens at any speed so I doubt it's a speed warning like the silvias have.

so after a lot of searching it seems i have a boost leak????

Hey the last week or so ive been getting a strange beep noise coming from in cabin when ever the car is at full throttle/boost. The noise comes and goes. The turbo is factory same as the boost level. Other mods are just FMIC, exhaust any ideas thanks.

Was replacing the rotors on the skyline spent 45mins trying to figure out why the new rotor wasnt just sliding into place finally realised i was trying to put the rear rotor on the front hub lol lol only took 5mins after that lol

Its still really really bad lol i went as far as sending an email to SBS telling them to just give up and leave it alone. How many road tests do holden and ford need?? lol will be interesting to read there reply lol
