  9. id also be interested as im considering doing this to my motor. but had a couple of questions if it'd work for me as i was planing on running the motor on 98, but with water injection would i see super high temperatures sitting in traffic? or sitting on the start line at a drift event? sorry to hijack your thread just really curious
  10. i messaged DLM regarding whether the 6262 or 6266 was the best choice for my motor setup and their reply was as follows: they are some pretty unreal claims they are making, i will be buying a bb6266 in the coming months once my motor is built and see what it will actually make and the spool times. will probably get the tuner to do some big power runs to see what its capable of making then pull it right back to save my gearbox untill i can afford a dog box
  11. a little off topic but im very keen to see how this turbo goes on a rb30, how far away from running are you? what other supporting mods? fuel? i was planning to run either a 6262 on my rb25/30 or a 6266 with 2.5" intercooler piping.
  12. if you dont mind me asking, what coilpacks are on the rb25 with red covers?
  13. sorry mate i never saw your reply untill now. pm sent, price dropped to $550ono need these gone
  14. Hey mate, what size wheels and tyres are you using for the sprint days? Also still running standard r32 4spot brakes on this? What pads do you run?
  15. I emailed them and the price I got was around $1000 that's $300 more than id1000's which isn't a huge difference. However are they that much better ? Would I really be losing out running id1000's over the 1000 asnu injectors
  16. i would be interested to see as many pictures of peoples sumps as possible. my rb25 will run: a stainless steam pipe copy of a trust manifold, t67-25g rb26itb's no vct larger cams and cam gears rebuilt head with spings & retainers, relapped valves, new seals arp head studs standard nissan headgasket. rev limit will be limited to around 7500rpm with the standard bottom end. motor will be tuned on 98 for now e85 in the future. the car is essentially a drift car, however will be used for other events such as club sprints, hill climbs, motorkhana's as well as spirited hills driving my oil control mods atm are: standard oil pump cylinder head drain, draining back to exhaust side (im now reading this is more of a vent than anything) having a custom winged and trap door sump made. hopefully 1-2l larger than standard however i can only go wider not deeper due to ground clearance issues. oil cooler with greddy thermostatic sandwich plate -10an fittings welded to standard vent location on valve covers vented to atmo catch can (no return to sump) blocked pcv now to block the vct my engine builder/engineer and myself were thinking we would use a grub screw to block the vct feed in the block make a grub screw to cap off the vct solenoid. and to feed oil to the front of the cam drill into the brass plug in the oil gallery and take the feed from the gallery? the head is currently off and disassembled im now thinking i should do the following things: remove the baffles from cam covers, fit steel wool under fitting, and cap screw the baffles back in place? fit a sump vent -10an from sump to catch tank on exhaust side remove crank, machine, new bearings and fit a crank collar drill oil return galleries in head and block fit oil restrictors the guide says to block one and fit a 1.25? i would be doing it by means of grub screws not the tap in ones. does anyone have any results with doing this? would also consider fitting billet gears to my standard rb25 pump any answers or experience would be greatly appreciated and if i need to provide any more information so anyone can help me i will do so asap. thanks, john!
  17. hey, ive got some Sard 550cc injectors in an rb25 fuel rail, with a nismo fuel reg also includes a loom which has been pinned out and swapped over to suit the sard injector plugs. these injectors were cleaned and new orings fitted before i fitted them to my car and ran it a few times and have since been removed as the motor now has rb26itb's with a top feed rail complete bolt on setup which will support 300kw + on an rb25 runnning 98octane located in tasmania but willing to ship at buyers expense. $700
  18. hey ive got an RB25 powerfc including hand controller with a z32 afm im after $1500 perfect working condition only selling as going down a different path with the car now has a tune on it to suit a S2 RB25 with a 3076r, 555cc nismo injectors and 20psi but would obviously need a retune to suit your aplication also RB25 s2 engine loom $200 great condition only cut/spliced for to suit s13 dash wiring ran fine no issues, new condute looks as new pictures will follow tomorrow all items located in Launceston Tasmania 7250 willing to ship at buyers expense

  20. That price I would be interested, any more and it'd start becoming abit too dear. The 400 mark is obviously the best option
  21. I'd be interested. But realisticly it all comes down to price. If that nz made one works out cheaper delivered or not
  22. So is it worth buying the td06sl2-25g over the t67-25g to get the added water-cooling Or stick with the tried and true ?
  23. the thing im most concered about is id like it to be making power till redline which will be relatively low compared to your car simon, ill only go to around 7-7500rpm roy you dont happen to have a copy of those dyno sheets do you? or how much power were they making? and how was it made? (linear or really aggressive) i have no concerns running an oil cooled only turbo, but out of interest how did you block/replace your water lines simon?
  24. so instead of the td06sl2-20g on standard manifold on my rb25 i am now considering going to a bigger item my supporting mods are/will be sard 550cc injectors, with bosch 044 surge tank etc, z32 afm, powerfc, stainless steampipe manifold, tial 44mm wastegate and straight through 3" exhaust im chasing something that will comfortabley crack 300kw/400hp im not scared to lean on the turbo hardish (1.3bar +) to make the power but it needs to be able to do it im just not sure that a the -20g on 98octane will make the power easily enough also if im going to the trouble/expense of a new manifold i may aswell go with a turbo that may have head room for more power down the track what do people think? i see my options as: the 3" anti surge inlet td06sl2-25g (water cooled)http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Kinugawa-Turbocharger-3-Anti-Surge-TD06SL2-TD06SL2-25G-T3-V-Band-10cm-/280780588883?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item415fd3c753 the 4" inlet td06sl2-25g (water cooled)http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Kinugawa-Turbocharger-4-TD06SL2-25G-T3-V-Band-450P-/280775108722?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item415f802872 the 4" inlet td06h-25g (water cooled)http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Kinugawa-Turbocharger-4-Inlet-TD06H-25G-T3-V-Band-10cm-AR73-500P-/280790575216?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item41606c2870 the 4" inlet t67-25g (oil cooled)http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Turbocharger-Mitsubishi-Kinugawa-T67-25G-T3-10-cm-/280775109686?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item415f802c36 and then i also saw this ? TD07-25g http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Kinugawa-Turbocharger-3-TD07-Anti-Surge-TD06SL2-25G-T3-Flange-10cm-/270874015433?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f115976c9 i guess i should also consider a 3076r but being another $3-400 more expensive turns me off, all to achieve abit of a truck whistle on spool up
