  2. Pulled off an R33 GTST, will suit RB20/25/26, won't work on a NEO. installed into an R33 S2 ECU housing, comes with the USB cable Will post at buyers expense. Chasing $1000 ono
  3. dude, google PSP Custom Firmware, all the features of 1.5 and the ability to play games that need higher version FW, and you can have iso loaders, emulators etc etc, most homebrew apps don't even need the 1.5 kernel anyways
  4. Another question... My ECU firmware is 4.2.1, if I update it to the latest firmware (4.4.3) will that mess anything up? Don't wanna do it if i have to fiddle with settings i have no idea about.
  5. Thanks for the reply, I'm pretty sure its mounted where the stock one was, but I'll get hyperdrive to check it out and suggest what you said. Cheers
  6. Hey all, long time no post. I've had a ViPEC in my S2 R33 for some time now, and its always been making this whirring noise since it was put in, was told that it was normal etc etc. Couple weeks back a friend of mine told me to get it checked out so I did, took it down to hyperdrive and they said it was to do with the ViPEC boost controller which was making that noise (initially thought it was the clutch and then the turbo) and a whole host of other problems which will eventually get sorted. Back on topic, I had a 33 GTR boost solenoid put in when the ECU went in, so I was wondering if anyone else had a 33 with ViPEC experience anything similar to this, and if they were able to fix it, cuz if hyperdrive can't fix it i'd have to get a different aftermarket boost controller or a bleed valve.
  7. This game just sounds like race driver GRID with a fresh coat of paint.... I think I'll stick with GRID tho, also spending $6,000 on a gaming rig is a waste of money, the core essentials where the most money should be spent is CPU, Mainboard, RAM, Graphics Card, PSU and to a lesser degree Hard Drives and that would run you up at most around the $2000 mark if you were to grab the top shelf stuff (except for the CPU, who wants to pay $1500 for an i7 extreme :\ ) paying for watercooling and all that crap is total wank imo.
  8. Lol no street racer style movie is complete without a GT-R in there somewhere wasn't this a game or an anime or both at some stage?
  9. I got a vipec with a FMIC, 3" turbo back xorst, POD filter and stock turbo @ 12psi getting around 226hp but thats because my cat is f**ked and i got an leak in my xorst... probably why im seeing crap mileage too gonna get that sorted soon and see what difference a hi-flow cat makes....
  10. how bad is it? if its the stock bumper you could just fix it up and re-attach it like i did with mine when i had an accident
  11. those series of hairpin turns up on the hill where there was no barrier for the hillside was pretty nerve wracking, especially going at 70-80kp/h but yeah there was a lot of people goin the wrong way lol, ended up having to turn around a few times due to following people not knowing where they were goin lol
  12. the hills area was awesome fun
  13. All PS3 hardware is compatible in all regions, doesn't matter where you get them from, I have 2 black dualshock 3's from japan and they work just fine on my AUS PS3.
