Hey all,
I have search the forums and not satisfied with what i found
I have had a intercooler sitting here in my storage for a while now, i have decided to bring it out of retirement I have inspected the fins and inside of the tanks...The fins are strong but look so dull and the inner side of the tanks have a little bit of White powder forming, im guessing some small corrosion?
So in saying that whats the best way to clean out this cooler?
Should i Fill up the core with decreaser, shake it and rinse with water?
What about the outside core? Spray descreaser on it and rinse off as well?
If this is the way to go..Do i just leave it to dry in the sun after running water through it?
The tanks i can polish up so thats not bothering me...
Any information at all will help,
Im located in Sydney so if anyone knows a place that does this work I'm willing to pay for it to be professionally done
thanks
Tony
