This is a great video, i have seen it many times...Love the gate lol Many others will agree im sure

Most Car Fabrication places make them with ease. Places like: micks metal crafts, Racers choice etc etc Buy a v8 hot rod magazine and find people in that and give em a call... They prob would set ya back 1000k at minimum as its all custom and time consuming.

mmmHHHmmm Dave...Now we are talking Once my dogbox gets fixed, It will be a great idea for that cruise... We Shall call it what..... Prob 'THE 400KW+ ROAD KINGS' LOLOL oh and for all to know i will be doing some extreme video's of mine launching and going through the gears big time!! Blowing the standard motor is my aim
-
Nah not my car just thought of that vid and shared My beast is asleep atm resting up haha!! But it drives like that... The close ratio box is the best thing for it it is so alive and responsive, eg. When im cruising in 3rd and put my foot down it will want to come on boost straight away. I have the standard 5 speed currently in it and it has become alittle sluggish longer ratio's but its not so bad..just annoying for me as im used to the dogbox i run. If i was to run a standard 5speed ratio dogbox (ppg) i would put GTS-4 diff gears in which would be fun Mitch End of the day your at limits with lowmounts if your chasing power! and a faster car...Single or Twin Highmounts is what you need if you are serious for power.
-
Well I run a TRUST 6 SPEED DOG box which is a close ratio gearbox. Car drives really well and isn't sluggish at all,Driving a single turbo gtr is the best feeling. I will never go back to twins! If you do decide to go ahead with a t88. there are so many options you can use. T88-33D (15cm/18cm), T88-34D (15cm/18cm/22cm) I got got like two kits here i am not using atm so if you want one let me know.

Steve I did just find this thread LOL and all i will say is this... If i ever lose to a low mount gtr on the street i would set fire to my GTR!!! If your interest is in hill climbs etc etc you like response stick with your boring low mounts... R31Nismoid what are you going about?? How isn't a 400+ kw gtr not fast on the street?? I got friends who love low mounts etc etc and they dont stand a chance.....

Hey All, A while back i purchased a Tripple Plate OS GIKEN Clutch For my r33 gtr. I had it installed and everything worked fine. Although, When i installed my GREDDY 6 Speed dogbox A weird noise from the clutch would occur. Sort of like a deep sounding grinding noise (NOT THE GEARBOX) We pulled out the box and after inspection it came back to the clutch not lining up???? I was told the clutch may have not been for a gtr r33 (as i bought it from the japan auctions) How can i identify which car the Os Giken tripple plate suits? as there are no serial numbers on the clutch. What can i measure up etc etc Any Ideas? Tony

Nice Nice Nice!!! Looking really good...Its gonna be some weapon!! How much did the HKS t62 set ya back?
-
Hey Dave, Sorry if this question is stupid lol...I dont know much on this topic but How come you didn't just use a 1.5way instead of the Trax LSD? I understand that its one of the strongest centres out there but its 2way and ur trying to change it to 1.5way? Just curious

Par Gearsets
T88 ON BOARD replied to skylinekid's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
i have had no experience with PAR gearsets... but when i spoke to them not to long ago with what they could do for me they mentioned something about 12month warranty if they assembled and installed the gearbox. So thats something to think about -
Hks 6 Speed Hollinger Dog Box For Rb26
T88 ON BOARD replied to jidgtr's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
in another thread he has going he states its a h pattern box not sequential -
Hey All, Just received a very nice bit of Gear that will be used with my Trust 6 speed dogbox Part is: OS GIKEN CENTER PLATE R32/R33 I Got this billet Center plate to strengthen my trust box even further! So many people upgrade there standard gearsets to the very reliable OS 1-5 Helical gearset but i have yet to see people use this great item. As many know an Upgraded sandwich plate reduces viabrations and reduces wear on the box.... The reason of this thread is to make people aware that OS GIKEN make this as most sites and dealers do not have it apart of there catalogue....Also wanted to show off this nice piece of gear I got this through greenline.jp and it set me back about $1050delivered well worth it!! Check it out ENJOY Feel free to comment

I'll take the trumpet...PM SENT -
This does work... Now to say it works without problems is another thing.... The car will run fine and you will prob need a re-tune to make sure the afr are on track since the air will be passed through the turbo then before with the 'normal' afm positioning.....Not sure if it will change it or not. The Main Issue and Problem is the afm will end up failing over time!!! I have known people who do the afm in the piping and they believe its from oil mist that will damage the afm sensor The main reason people who do this is to have no restriction in front of the turbo, simply run a pipe and filter....But these days a power fc d-jetro handles this problem the correct way
