hey guys, i bought a front bar off a member on the forums a couple of months ago, it looks identical to this : i finally found the time to get it painted and everything. and now that its all done, i cant seem to fit it onto the car as the chasis is in the way of the things where the fog lights go. wat would be the best way to get it to fit without ruining the bar? thnx in advance

hey marko. looks like ur a new member welcome to skylines australia ok now you need to reset the ecu if u change the o2 sensor. to reset ecu just disconnect the battery and let leave it for a couple of minutes to discharge. you cud press down on the brake as well to discharge whatever is left. once done reconnect you battery and away you go

thats really cool... wud be nice to see summin like that on a skyline ive been wanting to use one of my laptops in the car. hook it up to an external display and feed the engine readings (data logging) onto the screen. Havnt really found anything interesting on the forums. i've looked into some stuff by Tech Edge, but nothing promising.

just got O2 sensor installed. Got it from Kudos Motorsports ($77). Direct plugin. Dont waste your money buying it from repco.(they can get it for $154 plus shipping). will update on economy

ok just got back from the mech. so i was rite, the piston rings are letting thru small amounts of oil into the combustion chamber apparently. Is it worth going for a full rebuild or wud it make more sense to get just the piston rings changed for now?

my frnd has a 3000gt. awsome fun. but had a lot of probz with it. finally his gearbox gave out and its been garaged ever since coz he couldnt find replacement. its been 4 years now .. but its one daym gud looking car.

yea, goin to try that next change, but i already have a catch can installed. i took it a workshop a couple of months ago, they said everything was fine. I know its definetly not normal though.

there is no blue smoke... its still drinking up a lot of oil.. topped it up again about 3-4 weeks ago and i just checked the dipstick a couple of days ago, its gone from being at the high mark to somewhere in the middle. would it be that my piston rings need replacing? any else had this happen?
