  1. please someone correct me here if im wrong but cant you adjust the actuator rod? or is that only on R32's?
  2. @lucaas well im glad its not in any worse condition that it is now haha *Small update* Ordered a widebody yesterday, so that should get here some time next week from SA. Will post up 'unboxing pics' when it gets here

  5. Ok it looks a little different so this could be wrong but give it a try Blue=Acc Grey=Handbreak Green=Ignition 1 Yellow/orange=Ignition 2 Black=Ground just make sure u check with a multimetre ps. I take no responsibility

  10. yer fair enough, it wont cost u to try run it with the 040 in-tank, so just do that and if it cant handle it, upgrade.
  11. just get a bosch 044 a stick it in ur boot with a surge tank

  13. UPDATE!!!!! So a bit more info on the car; Mods - GReddy Side Mount Intercooler HKS Twin Power Ignition GTR Wheels (Correct me if i'm wrong) Cat Back NUR Spec exhaust Custom dump pipe and bashed out cat Bosch 044 Fuel Pump and surge tank in boot Its running approx 13psi (actuator rod wound up) Intended Mods - Widebody Fresh lick of paint Rota GTRd 18x10or12 - anyone know what would be better for 50mm wider? 10's are +12 offset and 12's are +20 That's all for now... OK guys so here is a few pics of the car after we picked it up and starting to give it a clean out! So there you go! After a bit of a look around for some spare parts we found an ad in the classified section that suited our needs perfectly as the seller was in townsville and had pretty much everything that we needed for the interior THANKS sLyLinE.32!!!! Here are some pics of the parts we picked up We also grabbed a new centre console because the original lid had shattered underneath the leather, and we got new air vents for the dash! very cheap too! And finally some small progress on what we have done to the car so far... BOV INSTALL!!!! Thanks to Simon-S14 for the heads up on how to block the oem bov! Yes i know the White King lid is dodgy as hell, already got a proper blanking plug on the way courtesy of STIG MICK! Thanks mate! So let us know what you all think so far!
  14. Hey guys, bought the mrs a new car after selling her 'Holden Astra Lemon'. Its a Black 1992 R32 Gtst Manual and its in terrible condition. We bought it with around 170,000km on the clock. It has rediculars sun damage on the exterior and interior, but we only paid $4k for it I'll be posting pics soon as i have already started the project and bought some parts. BTW this is my first real build as i haven't done much to my R34, or worked on RB20's before, so ill be needing plenty of help with different things along the way, I look forward to your comments!

  17. hey guys, bit of an update. i checked all the hoses with soapy water and found a few leaks around the oem bov from where i had it off and on the blitz bov which i soon fixed, only to find that now it just hit max boost faster and sticks flat on 14psi till around 6k revs and starts to deteriorate. also i had a chat to clint from pro-stroke and he said the spring in the actuator could be cut/different pound rating? is this something that is generally done guys? or possibly the rod or aftermarket actuator as jognnilicte said and i just dont know the difference lol

  19. @KiwiRS4Ti have no idea..... he is a metal fabricator, i think he just got the pump because he made the surge tank himself and wanted to use it. (good quality too) also it may still have big injectors, i havent checked

  22. @Silvia GTR Nah mate standard actuator, no boost T and no ebc in cabin that i cant see @Simon-S14 Ok sweet, i didnt realise leaks could cause more boost. @ant97GTR once again, didnt realise a vacuum leak could cause more boost, thought it would cause a loss of boost.
  23. hey guys, my partner just bought an R32 GTST, its boosting to 13-14psi with a standard actuator and im not sure what's causing it. Mods to follow; Aftermarket side mount intercooler, Turbo back exhaust, HKS ignition, Bosch 044 fuel pump with surge tank in boot, and a few other little things not really enhancing performance. any ideas would be apprieciated. thanks Jamie Curran
