  1. @stig mick Cheers mate, PM'd you.
  2. @89CAL hey mate thanks for the info. @bored33 nah the blitz bov i have is the one on the pipe that mounts down towards the intercooler.
  3. Hey guys, ive just installed a blitz bov with the pipe on the mrs r32, im just wondering do i have to block the standard bov off at the bracket? and then block off the plumbed back hose? Also would this cause boost loss by having the original bov on it still or is something leaking? Jamie
  4. ok cheers guys, ill put the restricter back on and relocate the tee and update on how it goes. jamie
  5. can you explain that in dumb terms please so i should put the brass restrictor back on? its a glowshift gauge, just a defi copy.
  6. ok nylon hose is on, still the same problem, only reading 5psi. Tried change the t-piece to one without the restricter in it but no change. any ideas?
  7. ok cheers guys, im in the process on putting new hose on.
  8. wow, i am so glad i could get on here and get some useful support from people. @paulr33 im really sorry the words "common issue" annoys u so much but the reason i said it was a common issue is because when u look it up u get around 100 results from all different cars and gauges. I am not saying i know how to install a boost gauge properly, this is the reason i am posting on here.
  9. the hose is fine as i just put it on, i know its a common issue people have had, just need to know if ive hooked it up right
  10. I have hooked up a new boost gauge (psi) but it stops at 5psi and slowly creeps to max 6psi, can anyone help me out with where i have gone wrong, ill post a pic with it. There is a copper restricter or something in the t-piece that you can roughly see on top there, is it meant to be there? btw i have a atomic mbc from gfb installed and running .75 on the standard gauge which is just under 11psi if my math is correct.
  11. im having the exact same issue
  12. you could rub it back with wet and dry sand paper and give it a coat of clear coat or 2, then buff and polish it.
  13. yer i decided on 265's on the rear guys, cheers for the help

  19. ok now that we are on the same brainwave, i would be better off buying new Garret GT3076R for $1750 than buying a 2nd hand HKS 3037S and getting it repaired and costing me maybe more....
  20. ok so u can get a different extra trim size in the HKS version but other than that they are the exact same Turbo
  21. I could be wrong and making a dick of myself but..... Uploaded with ImageShack.us and another http://www.turboaust...turbos.ewdid=13
  22. hey man welcome to SAU

  23. so ur saying it would cost me more than to buy a brand new turbo? so if i can get the turbo for $500 im coming up even, then ive gotta pay for it to be shipped down there and back...and then the labour
