  1. i got mine from greenline and fitted it myself no probs,,... i dont know of and failing as far as ive heard. i thought it was worth the risk

  3. i have to agree with dave, i had a safcII and was getting 270hp but the power was high in the rpm but when i went to the power fc i gained another 20ish hp but the mid range power was a hugh increase... much more drivable
  4. Hi guys, as the title states i am looking to buy a 94-96 WRX Wagon. if anyone knows of anyone selling one, private or dealer please let me know as we are having a little trouble finding one.. Ps No im not selling the Skyline, we are buying the WRX for a second car for Anna to drive and take the dogs out.

  6. just like what rs73 said, we cut out centre bar and plastic welded the C section... also we extended the depth of the intercooler hole about 4cm to give it a better look, but if you do this (extend the depth of the hole) you will need to position the intercooler a little further back towards the radiator, and by doing this you will need to have custom cooler pipes... as i was getting custom piping anyway i did it so i could have a different look

  9. ok the top dyno is my car, my hp jumped heaps when we fitted the SAFCII, I have to agree with nickr33 about the nasty holes in the power curve and yes it was time for a powerfc upgrade... the mid range power you talk of... well my car on the road had little mide range and little power until above 5000rpm then the power kicked in pretty hard by the way i have had my car on 2 different dyno with same figures NOW.. like i said before it is time for a ecu upgrade.. i now have a power fc and gezzz it made a huge difference... not only in max power 290hp (216kw) but in drivability.... meaning more power midrange and accels heaps better not sure if ive added any heapfull info but .....
  10. my name is Scott I used to work for the DVG morley city Nissan in the parts dept i now have moved on to better (more professional ) company.. still in the automotive industry. i now work for John Hughes Group in the parts dept (Mitsubishi, hyundai, daewoo and VW) oh and i still get nissan parts at cost

  19. steve.. good point about the boost coming on earlier .... in regards to the research if you want to donate a ebc i will gladly pay for the tuning ..... hehehehehe .... the previous owner was in japan.... when i imported her she had standard wheel, standard cat, standard front dunp pipe, standard intercooler so im guessing the turbo hasnt been touched but if it has ... lucky me
  20. not sure benm.... my car has always got go hp concidering the mods it has (or lack of mods) but i am so happy with the way the car drives now since having my Power Fc fitted and tuned... much nicer than when i had a safc ..... Rob ... i agree with you, i wont be spending money on an EBC, i dont think it will make much more hp.... its holding a pretty steady 10psi now

  22. steve, my turbo is standard!! yeah the boost does drop and maybe with a ebc i might get more power, not sure what do you think Lumpy ? i agrea with Lumpy, why push any harder than 6500rpm if its not going to make much difference..... im really happy with the power the boys achieved P.s i believe my a/f meter is maxed out now anyway
  23. finally i got around to fit my Power Fc and getting it tuned by Hyperdrive today. I must say a BIG thanks to Ken and the boys down at hyperdrive for achieving 290Hp safely and for giving a great discount for being a SAUWA Member
