  1. Correct me if i'm wrong but if you remove the ballast from the headlight, that there would be a big hole in the bottom of the headlight housing. That being said, your factory ballast should be still there. The easiest way for YOU to find out what is required for YOUR car is for YOU to have a look at what is actually there and what is not. Once YOU have done this you could ask the community for their input on what to do. We cannot see your car so we don't know what is on it and what isn't
  2. Can you please post pictures of this Nissan/Nismo aero kit?
  3. No this wont fit your car as it is for the JDM V36, still called a G35 in the US as it still has the 3.5 lt motor in it.
  4. whats the surface area on those?????????????
  5. I have a variation of those blinker covers on my Skyline, I think the top pic is the same as mine. I also believe that they are a factory option, can somebody with FAST please confirm. You can also source them on Yahoo/IM.
  6. I don't think that that is what she is saying, with regards to ETC card readers, some cars are fitted from factory and others are not, and if your car didn't come with one it was probably an aftermarket one that was recycled into their new car. I have hade the Japnese woman's voice in my car, (factory ETC, nav screen up without the navi disc inserted and no extra button presses) I believe it had something to do with my battery being stuffed. I cannont confirm about seatbelts or fuel warning.
  7. Sedan headlights are complete aftermarket, so the low beam globes are H7- not the factory D2R type. The coupe' lights are either a modified OEM headlight or more than likely a copy of the factory ones, hence the retention of the factory HID setup.
  8. Pads are for non-Brembo, they will fit Z33, V35 coupe' & sedan and also fit M35 Stagea.
  9. You will also have to trim the panel that goes from the strut tower back to the firewall.
  10. You are talking about the coupe' headlights where I was not, I was talking and displayed a picture for the sedan lights. The coupe lights should be a straight drop in affair as the coupe' was released with projectors, the sedan however was never released with projectors so they are complete aftermarket hence the difference.
  11. I put mine down on a full set of nismo's for the 350Z, car sits nice and level and the wheel arch is just above the rubber.
  12. Pictures speak a thousand words, hope this clears up any confusion
  13. If the coupe' lights are anything like the sedan ones, the halos wont be conected when you get them. Giving you the option to splice into the parkers/led's or setup a different connection for daytime running lights.
  14. At the moment yes, would like to fit my 380RS diff centre first then get it strapped down to see what if got. Don't think that I will get numbers like yours though, the CVT absorbs alot, just the simple induction mods in NA trim were only just noticeable, more noise than anything. I am impressed with the route you took for your tune, will see how the IS copes.
  15. The new lights will come with a harness already attatched, when you unplug and remove your original headlight the harness stays with it you wont require anything off it. You will be splicing into the new harness on the new light.
  16. I scored big time, the Endless setup only cost me my factory single piston setup and some fresh fluid.
  17. It all depends on what you are after, if you go with a Jap brand system you will end up with a top quality system at a cost. You could get a system from the states which I find to be a little bit crude'r, but at a better price. I have the Stillen gen 2 true dual cat back system that I had to modify when I went FI, had a nice note, was a touch louder than what I wanted. Now it sounds great with the turbo fitted. Most aftermarket systems the 'Y' pipe is seperate to the rest of the exhaust, and most of the Jap systems for the sedan are designed of the 250 & 300 GT series' as they have smaller pipe diameters than the 350 coupe.
  18. With regards to Jesse purchasing the lights he would be going directly to the supplier. I regards to the HID setup for the sedan lights, you will not be able to reuse the original setup. Go and buy an aftermarket set of H7 HID's, when you get the new headlights, remove the two wires going into the low beam section and cut them. Now solder these two wires to the power input on the aftermarket HID kit. The series one sedan factory HID setup is in two parts, the ballast under the headlamp and the igniter module inside the headlight (which requires dismantling of the headlight to get to it). The series 2 sedan and all of the coupe's these two components were combined into the one unit under the headlight.
  19. My car had a boss/spacer on each bolt to space the plate out.
  20. That is correct, it plugs straight into the original socket. The after market HID kit will be spliced into the wiring on the headlight side of the plug.
  21. Which Stillen exhaust are you looking at, if it is one of their true dual systems you wont require a 'y' pipe as they are from the cat back.
  22. That Akebono kit requires for you to have min. 19" rims as the fronts are 355mm and rears are 350mm. I have just fitted a set of Endless 6 piston kit to the front of mine, and the 324mm rotors fill up my 18" rims quite well.
  23. You wont be able to use they factory HID setup on the sedan lights, there is no mount or hole for the factory setup. There is just a rubber cap over the back of the globes, which is the only access for the wiring. You will require an after market set of HID for this to be possible.
  24. Kolossus, have you organised your new H.I.D. setup yet as the factory unit will not fit. You will be happy when they are in, really lights up the road.
