Thanks Bro, thats what happened. The stupid spray painter disconnected the aerial and removed the resistor when he was wet sanding the car. I even paid $25 bucks for a auto electrcian to fix it. He found no earth to the fuel pump so he tap earth from another source. I had to repair the earth wire he cut. But thanks to J_Red33 topic. He has shown me where to look. So I say thanks again to J_Red33. (^_^)

Hey Buddy, I know its a little late from 2006. Thanks for the above information. I have a r33 series 2 turbo. My cars getting resprayed at the painters. Car was working fine the day before. Than today, owner of shop said that car is starting and dies after a min of running and would not start. Call the auto electrcian and he said that there was no earth going to pump. I thought what the hell. Earth would not just disappear in a day. I am trying to find out where does the fuel pump get its earth from. I know it starts from the fuel pump but I am trying to trace it till where it gets its earth. Can u help me Bro. I am going to check the fuel pump module and ballast resistor. I think the painters must have undid somthing when they strip the car for paint. Cheers. PS I am like u. I want to fix the problem and not just do the direct earth to fuel pump.

Mine just did this today, car was running fine last week and now car doesn't start. Call auto electrcian and he fix it. Found that there was no earth to fuel pump. What the hell. He cut the earth wire to fuel pump and got earth from another wire for now. His coming back next week to find the cause. Thinking of just running direct feed to the pump. You any one in Sydney who can do this.

If only a Ex Nissan r33 production line worker can tell me in Japanese that yes. All R33 were build like that. I will rest in peace.

So u too have the same problem. Your left rear wheel sits in and right rear wheel sticks out. Correct. I wonder in Sydney if there is a shop who deals with r33 suspension all day and knows the real truth about the lopsided rear end.

So, u got the same problem as me. Hmmmm. There has to be somthing wrong there. I mean Nissan would have done this perfectly to have equal spacing on both sides.

Hey guys I have a problem, My car an r33 series 2 got T-Boned at the left rear wheel back at about 5-10km. So far these parts have been replaced new from Nissan. New rear quater panel, Left rear lower control arm, left rear new hub knuckle with bearing and hub, left rear hicass tie rod and tie rod end( hicuss replace with lock bar). Only suspension arm not replace is the top 2 arms sitting above drive shalf. Wheel alighner said it doesn't need replacing. I just realise that the left rear wheel sits further in and the right rear wheel sits further out. I have attached 2 photos. Both taken from the back of the car left side and right. What else is going wrong. I thought maybe the new rear quater panel is spot welded on wrongly but I have check and everything is inline. What else could be causing this? Panel beater says wait when everything is finish and will go for a wheel aligment. Insurience has to make the car pefect before I collect the car and that the chasis at the rear is not bent. I am a type of guy that likes everything to be pefect. I just want answers. What could be causing this? I know that the left rear hicus tie rod need alightment. Please help?The front of both sides is the same. Left rear wheel is sticking in and right rear wheel is sticking out. Could a 5-10 km hit cause the rear cradle to move. The story was that when I drove past the car that hit me. It was at stand still. When half of my car went past, she accelerated and hit me. I tried to avoid her and thats why the damage is left rear wheel all the way to the rear quater as she has hit me at an angle. So her speed was between 5-10km. Body shop has told me that its just cosmetic damage and no structure damage. Any experts out there, please help. Been having a lot of sleepless nights thinking about it as the car has never met an accident before and because of this stupid lady driver who failed to give way. I can't bring the car to the wheel alighner now because the car is getting prep for paint. Anyone with the same problems, please help. Thanks Attached Thumbnails
