Hi guy thought I would introduce myself, I have just purchased an 1998 R-34 Skyline 4dr GT-T, I live just out of Mackay in QLD. Not sure if there are many people on this forum from Mackay area. After owning sevral V8 Fords & Holdens my younger brother finally convinced me to buy a Skyline. My biggest concern as the car is actually for my girlfriend as an every day driver, would the thing last, I here of all these terrible stories of dodgy speedos, turbos blowning up, accident damaged cars etc. So was put off. How ever after seeing some pics of the car I was very impressed and my girlfriend as they are could stop annoying at me to buy one. I was told to use a guy in Adelaide, he told me if I wanted a mint one to wait he would find me one, as I told him didnt want a piece of crap that was going to blow up. Next week he had found a really nice stock one grade 4.5 (which is good) with a Nismo exhaust. It arrived a short time later and the guys lowered it 2 inches on Kings springs and it looks great. I was very surprised with the power of the car. I think I gopt a good deal on it I paid $14500 delivered to the door. Order some nice Shadow chrome wheels already so I'll update pics when they get here next week. Well thats me and this is my car!!
