is the style split between wastegate and exhaust gases?

www.justjap.com have the split ones for 199 mild, and 299 stainless if u wanna pay that much. they outterstate as well so u would have to get it shipped. Have u tried dandenong exhaust centre. I saw one of their front/dump pipes for a wrx and it was really good quality stuff. it was also of split but plumbed back type. If u dun wanna get split then just get it from batmbl, cheap as chips.

how long u looking at doing this? even at 450 thats cheap. I'm interested if its in a month or two. I just put bilsteins in and my pockets are incredibly shallow at the moment and the credit card debt seems to be increasing lol.

mate there is a dude on nissansilvia.com that will powder coat ur rocker cover in a wide range of colours. his nik is shakiel or something and heres the thread: http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...showtopic=44766 the limited time cost is 100 bux but i think its going up to 120 coz of metal stripping is an expensive process. Plus postage since ur in Brissy and he in melb. Not sure bout the plenum tho... otherwise if u wanna do it yourself it ain't really that hard. Get fireproof spray paint or engine enamel spray paint doesn't cost that much get a few cans, can get it from autobarn, bursons, repco supercheap bla bla bla. u will need some degreaser as well. Really clean ur rocker cover with degreaser and sanding u don't want any dirt on it as the paint won't stick as good. Then just follow the instructions on the cans and spray away. Do a coat then sand it back then do a coat over it. Keep going with coats till ur happy and thats it!!! removal: removal of the plenum i dunno. The rocker cover is really easy tho. My rocker cover gasket is weeping at the moment and i will be replacing it soon. When i do i'll write a DIY for it with pix. best of luck mate, Rom.

don't forget u will be paying import duties and GST on top of that 1600. even 300+ rwkw is good enough for 76mm cores. 10cm or over u would be aiming really high. Why not trust type S or another Jap brand. I think dAVE can get coolers cheaper than that from japan. give him a pm.

yeah got quoted around 250 for a centre console lid. I used to go to nissan for services and they were absolutely crap!!! tensioned the belts all wrong and the car just didn't seem right. Cost me a grand to change the clutch and service. Another thing they said only 1 clutch kit will fit in it in aust. I'm like wtf, bullcrap. But the clutch was so roooted it had to be towed so i didn't want to tow somewhere else. so i just sed yea do it. took more than a few days to get there as well. 5000 kms after a major service i said can u service it again and tune it coz i'm getting epa'd. They replaced spark plugs again, after 5000kms i was like don't u check ur files mate? 6 of em 25 bux each. damn. This was at frankston nissan. now i go to a friends workshop. But i buy nissan parts for it, i need a new rocker cover gasket, n e 1 know how much they are. Yes u are right the dudes behind the counter are kool, very friendly and helpful. Just not good experiences with the services.

if u do get extractors heat sheild them by using an exhaust wrap, it is best to keep the heat in the exhaust bits. Good for exhaust flow and good to keep underbonnet temperature down. Do not heat sheild the stock manifold or stock dump, cast iron does not like to be wrapped and may crack. If u do get an aftermarket dump and front pipe also wrap these up. Wraping up some of the intercooler pipe may also be a good idea. U don't want the warm/hot ambient under bonnet temp to heat up the air inside the pipe for obvious reasons.

Later down the road I will probably be putting a to4 on and at the moment just have a cat back on a 33gtst. I am in the same sorta boat as bass junky Most cost effective is dump and front in 1 (non split) ie. batmbl or flyn and is CES wank factor for the price (How much did you get urs for Daz) ? I can get a 3inch front pipe cheap but split dumps r still expensive. What do u guys reckon i should go with? how long do u reckon it would take to get there from frankston? i'm pretty sure at this stage and at that price, only thing is the distance. Don't worry bout being laughed at my car is pretty much a stocker gtst atm, i am just curious on the power thats all. Also is their dyno up a ramp, or on the ground? coz if i have to go up a ramp i will need some help in removing my front bar.

mine is daily driver to uni everyday. I live in frankston and go to monash clayton thats about an hour drive during traffic. no problems. u don't have to warm up 5 minutes everytime, if u do that u will do more harm than good. warm up 2 min then take it easy.

i don't think the benifits would be that great if it entered just before the cat. A job like that would cost a fair bit. Bump
