cheers for the advice too, didnt see your second bit... i wouldnt keep going if my back pinched or anything
-
cheers for the reply mate yer i figure that they already work it alot.. was just looking for more lol. and i hear mixed opinions at times... i do shoulder press standing already. and dont use any machines at all, as i do my workouts at home, have a squat rack, bench, chin up bar and free weights. im guessing u dont do other core specific exercises then mate?
-
good work on dropping a heap of unecessary weight too!
-
hey guys, got a question for some of you who do fairly heavy squats and dead lifts.. do any of you do much core work to help protect your back and spine when it comes to heavy squats and dead lifts? (and if you do what exercises do you do also sets reps etc) or do you think that your squats and dead lifts give you all the back and core strength you need to do heavy weights?

have you just brought it have you? or owned it for ages... i saw it about 4-5 years ago around geelong when i was 18 and took a photo of it i liked it that much lol and then eventually brought a skyline
-
i recon they look mad as! lol something different anyway.. i considering buying some but pussed out haha i dont get shin splints or anything.. i recon they would be good gym shoes.. as i usually do weights bare foot anyway they look like monkey feet.. try running up a wall let me know how it goes

what colour is ur current 180 kaz.. latly ive been noticing a heap of girls driving r33's... most fairly stockish... didnt think girls were into skylines that much... haha
-
lol my bad mate i should learn to read... yer i no where you mean and it comes out behind lorne.. ive never seen the silver r34 either... just black... with a number plate ending in "2"
-
agreed the great ocean ride is nice, parents have a house down that way so im down there from time to time.... never really been down bacchus marsh rd much... not in my skyline anyway, been down there in slow work utes but haha... Russ you should most definetly get some big stickers on ur back window of ur daily... "the tyre factory, any exhaust shop sticker, or a big Unit sticker" will suffice no horn hey... just wave frantically!!
-
i do drive it around geelong if i have things to do place to be like need to go into town to get things, but i dont ever just cut hot laps of town at night or cruise round the waterfront just for kicks... as i dont see the fun in driving slowly in cirlces around town at night trying to not run over the drunks stepping out onto the road lol. ru around geelong much? i cant think of seeing ur car... if u ever see me beep like 10 times and wave... there is an asian guy (youngish mayb 20 or so i think..) with a stockish looking skyline with a body kit possibly ive seen too.. thats not you is it?
-
i dont, but you could try get some skin shorts... can get them cheap on the net in some places like www.eastbay.com i have nike ones of that website... i wear them when i run...
-
didnt know he was on here... the one with the big skyline writting on the side, and it has a bomex kit i think.. i havent seen it around in ages.. i used to see it alot about 2years ago i think.. haha yes that would have been me near the sphinx, not there anymore though... but thats a good spot by you! haha howd u guess that? wave and beep if u ever see me. do u mean like shadow chrome or something like that.. i do get what you mean i think. i saw a stockish looking skyline at the waterfront last night at about 430-530 i think it was too...
-
hey RUSS123 just out of curiosity what black r34 is urs is there any stand out things on it that? is it the one with the personal plate and chrome wheels, or one with skyline writting on it? or nismo kit or anything? only ask as i have a black one and take notice of the other i see around haha, was wondering if any of them are you..
-
yer thats true about driving style actually, good point... and the fact i dont cut hot laps in circles around town for hours on ends. i wouldnt like to live in a city smaller then geelong though... i like geelong but any smaller would do my head in i think lol
-
ive had a skyline for 2 and a half years and have never been pulled over which is nice... also never getting caught in heavy traffic as i hate crawling bumper to bumper.... thats my thoughts
-
ive heard alot of good things about asics too... although i still decided to buy reebok Realflex's.. if you plan on doing a lot of running. you should go to a shop like "the running factory" (a place where they analyse ur step/stride on a treadmill and pick shoes accordingly) you should try something like them and see what they recommend for your gait.
-
i am usually like that too.. and usually just play bball (twice a week) and some years i play footy and i do weights a fair bit... trying to beat urself is great motivation though... plus i had to get new runners recently for uni so wanted to use them..
-
hey guys, ive only really started running about 9 days ago have done 3 runs (3.58km, 4.3km and 3.53km) as it had been close to 3 weeks since BBall and i need to have some fitness.. but i think the main motivation i got all of a sudden is RunKeeper.. Any of u guys use it? its an app on iphones that tracks: distance travelled, maps it out, altitude (i live in a hilly area so good to see. climb = 36m), Pace (minutes per km) etc and its awesome! haha highly recommend it... ive knocked off 2 minutes on my 3.5km runs went from 19:46 to 17:44 really motivational to see progress.

Just as in they dont hit at all or they can bottom out or? it will either be 265s or 255 after reading ur opinions (thanks brett and richard!) It has 255/40/18s atm does any1 know how much wider a 265/35/18 would be? i asume only 1cm or so... i will scrap the idea of 275's... id like 265's still if possible as a wider tyre is going to grip better off the line i asume, and the 265 should handle better right? and i think thicker tyres look better to be honest..
-
haha yer thats it... has changed a bit since ive seen it... its funny how easy it is to spot and find skylines in geelong.
-
ive found a link to what are currently on my car, they are similar to these, but mine are a 255/ 40/ 18 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2-X-265-35-18-FALKEN-AZENIS-RT615-STREET-LEGAL-SEMI-SLICK-TYRES-BRAND-NEW-/280739159825?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item415d5b9f11 im not sure if ud call them a semi slick or a high performance street tyre.... those bridgestone were a 28* (something) so it must have been 285... i was only looking at them breifly, but if there too big i will look into something smaller... i was working at the time and just in the tyre shop quickly so didnt get enough details really.... i will look into the 255 and 265's as a better option. But i will have to suss out what brands the two of them were...
-
their falken Azenis im fairly sure... They were on the wheels when i got them... it must be 285 x 30 x 18 then i guess... they are bridgestones... thanks for the input ash i guess i will have to give them a miss go with smaller, there was 265 and 275's aswell im not sure of the brand though... and 255's i think... all with a 35 sidewall.. is 275 still going to be pushing it? should i just stick with the 255 or 265's...?

hey guys! I have an R34 GTT, with R34 GTR wheels on it (18 inch x 9 inch +30 offset) and 255 x 40 x 18 tyres the guards have been rolled. i can get 280 x 30 (i dont think it was 35) x18 tyres for the same price as 255 x (35) x 18. and any width in between basically... like 265 275 etc would they be much harder to fit under the rear guards than what is currently there? (currently - Falken semi slicks 255x40x18) what would you guys recommend? whats the biggest people have had on their r34 gtts? thanks

protein direct have some decent price Casein protein which is slow release and works well if ur looking for some. doesnt mix well though haha, but its good i recon, also stops me from waking up so hungry during the night or early morning...
