  1. Hey, I'm looking for someone with an R32 GTS-T that might be able to help me with some questions. I have a set of front knuckles and hubs off of a 4-door R32 Skyline GTS-T. I have the suspension for to fit it but I can't figure out where the suspension hooks up to. I think I'm probably missing a the upper links. I'm just not sure exactly what the GTS-T set-up looks like. If anyone can help me out with pics or something that'd be cool. If you can help me out with any of this, let me know. Thanks.
  2. There are lots of funny sounding names in Japan. I lived there for awhile. The car parts store Parts Off, like the choco fashion, doesn't really roll of the tounge. Heh. Also, Toyota makes one of those new shuttle type vans that is called an Emina. Thats one of my favorite's...now they have to know what an enima is....at least I hope they do. I cane name off lots but this should suffice for now...haha.
  3. Hey, I have a Pivot brand headlight retractor control with a built in intake temp gauge. its a Pivot RHU-T. I have an S13 Silvia but I would still like to use the gauge for the temp gauge, since i can't use it for the pop-up headlights. Anyone have any idea of how I would go about hooking that up? seems like it would be fairly easy. but im not sure. Out of the gauge i have 4 wires which group together in a small plug(a black, yellow, red and grey wire), then i have 2 other wires which group together(they are black and black/white) and a single red wire. any ideas? i think the 4 grouped wires are to control the headlight retraction...I dont see anything that would be used to take intake temp. well, i posted pics here . Thanks
  4. I have been working converting my S13 from 4 lug to 5 lug, and I'm using the bits off of an R32 Skyline GTS-T. I tried just swapping hubs and calipers but that didn't work because of the skylines independent parking brake. It seems I'll have to use the entire knuckle in order to do this conversion. In the rear, the Skyline's knuckle will swap in close to perfectly. The front is another situation though. There is a completely different knuckle system. I was thinking about just converting the front so that I could put the Skyline knuckle in but then I would have to use a Skyline suspension(not a problem, I have a full set of RSR suspension for an R32 already) but I noticed that the Silvia's have 3 bolts on the top of their suspensions while the Skylines only have 2. Does anyone know if there are any Skylines that have a suspension with 3 bolts on top so I could just easily swap that suspension in. Or if anyone has ever done this swap and has some things to add just let me know, I could use any advice. Thanks.
  5. Hey, I am currently working on putting a CA18DET engine into a KA24DE Silvia. I have encountered a big problem though. I have got everything done mechanically, but I am in a rut electrically. I think my problem is around the area of the battery, specifically the Ignition Coil Relay and ECCS Relay. My actual problem is in my air flow meter and it not getting enough power. I believe the power routing on my relays might be bad. As a test, I hooked up my air flow meter directly to the battery to see if it would run with the power it needed, and it did. When I hook the air flow meter directly up to the battery though, I hear a clicking noise from the Ignition Coil Relay and the ECCS Relay. Does that mean that my constant battery to the relays is bad or just that by hooking up the air flow meter to the battery I am in a sense bypassing the relays(and running a hard wire). Another situation I found, this one will be a little harder to understand(unless you have a schematics and know what I'm talking about, hopefully some of you will). Well, the Black/Red wire coming out of my Ignition Coil Relay, when tested for connectivity with a multimeter, connects to the Black/white wires coming out of both the Ignition Coil Relay and the ECCS Relay. I looked at the ECU wiring for this and they don't seem to touch anywhere. I don't see why there should be a problem though, it is the stock harness so the two wires shouldn't touch if they're not supposed to. So, are the black/red and black/wires supposed to touch? Let me know. Also, can someone test their car to see if they hear a clicking noise from their relays next to the battery? Well, if you guys got anything that might be able to help me, please please please let me know. Thanks.

  7. Hey, I'm having trouble reassembling the rear e-brake assemblies for an R32 Skyline. I'm talking about the shoe brakes that fit inside the rear brake rotors. I just bought these e-brake assemblies but they arrived in pieces and I have never put one of these together before. I cant figure out where the springs and nails go. If anyone can help me, please let me know. You can e-mail me at: [email protected] if you'd like. Thanks a bunch!
