yeah well Im only after 310-320rwkw but I think that just gona be a bit to far for a standard na internals and not enough power to justify spending $2500 or so on internals so Thought I may aswell ask the question to see if it is easy or its to much hassle for the money saved

the info I read ages ago that I cant find again you eather use standard 2jz bearings or off the shelf over sized ones Simple more compression and a bit stronger bottem end for half the price if you can get a good set of standard ones

Ok I read some where ages ago that 2jzgte pistons and conrods would fit in a rb30 bottem end and when running a rb25 head it would bump the compresion back upto 9:1 dose anyone know if this is right or has done it

vl turbo boxs need the same mods to fit as rb25det boxs but the vl ones are harder to find and more exsensive

Yeah My mates rb20det in his 31 is doing the same. We have tryed everything elce excepted coils. Problem we are having is its a silver top with red top igniter and coils so we cant find any with the right plug to try

not rich and timming isnt retarded Ive all ready checked that. we cant get the boost any lower than 12psi the dump pipe seems to flow to well. waste gate is not sticking. it builds upto that boost and holds it solid. Would the coil packs cause it to bog down when it comes onto boost then take off at 3400rpms

Ok mates has a silver top rb20det in a r31 s2 silo. If you flaten it it comes onto boost it bogs down until 3500rpm then takes off then hits a wall again at 4800rpm we have tryed new plugs gaped at .8mm, cleaned air flow meter (also tryed a diffrant air flow meter) new fuel filter and r33 fuel pump but still no diffrant. also if you free rev it it limters at 6200rpm but dosnt sound like the proper limiter Anyone have any ideas what to look at next All thats done to it is cooler, full 3inch exhaust and 12psi (some times 14psi)
