  1. Boston area at the moment Will you be at SEMA? My fab guy is there now I'm flying out in 12 hours.
  2. I miss AZ so much! I lived out there 04-06 in Phoenix area
  3. he said he could do the 1st couple at $1700usd to break into the Australian marketOnce they prove themselves there (and they will) the price would bump up a little This includes a manifold setup for twin tial gates
  4. Tomei genesis RB28 shortblock Mild port on head Multiangle valve job Tomei valve springs Greddy 264 9.1 cams (gonna go more aggressive later like 272 11 lift) This comp turbo is not oil-less, you can see the feed and Drain in a couple pics They hadn't released that technology yet when I got this turbo about 4-5 years ago, they literally released billet wheels a month or two after I ordered it otherwise I would've gone billet It's a 72mm triple ball bearing SX wheel .81 hotside
  5. Approx. $1900USD
  6. The collector is built using spayed cut pipe. From there he just welds them together and ports it out by hand.... Nothing exotic there.
  7. He's done several of these manifolds Some have a couple years on them and some pretty hard miles too None have shown any hint of cracking as of yet.
  8. 304L schedule 10 stainless steel pipe
  9. I know he didnt backpurge..... he also didnt bolt it to steel plate while welding either so the flange kept warping pretty hard. I will post vids when the time comes but its so late in the season now It might not be until spring/April
  10. Hardwire the pump with a relay to bypass the fuel pump module I swapped rb26 into my gts4 and had to wire in the resistor box for the injectors but outside of that it ran great right away
  11. It's a 60mm gate Shouldn't be an issue Hard to tell in pictures but it's the pipe to the gate is over 2.5inches Using a Greddy Profec-B spec 2 solenoid with the AEM V2 (The downpipe is 90mm/3.5in and the IC pipe is 3in)
  12. yea its not tuned yet. My tuner is actually a very good friend of mine from way back.... He's so unbelieveably busy with his business and flying planes (second job) we haven't had the time to tune it yet. I switched to AEM (map) from an L-Jet Power FC so we gotta start all over. we'll see how these ID's like 80psi base fuel pressure. I had the gate dumping under the car for a while than we recirc'd it into the DP. I think it will sound much better with this manifold over the log style though. Its getting so late in the season here Im really not rushing it.... I don't know if it will be 100% until spring at this point, we'll see. PS.... anyone notice its not a GT-R?
  13. Full-R@ce eat your heart out! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/433583-new-manifold-fabrication-w-pics/
  14. Getting close DEI fire sleeve EVERYTHING! ya tomei oil pump Mounting plate done Sent out manifold, downpipe and wastegate hotside to be high temp coated Yup out the hood.... Raw as f*k He thought I was bullshitting as was going to pussy out..... Until this very moment of no return Before/after Fall is lovely here
  15. This was a MOTHER****ER btw! Back to it Backpurge that mutha f Taking this weekend off.... Gotta feed my need for speed regardless of the season Back to work Yup that gate is going right where you're thinking Vanjen clamps Oh hai NuR spec Oh hai shop Office view
  16. I'm just gonna get right down to it Was running a poorly built 1 1/4" steam pipe log manifold made with pipe tee's and 90s... It cracked all to shit in a matter of 1000 miles (guy didn't know what he was doing/no purge etc) He's a couple pics of the log Like I said within 1000-1500 miles it was cracked to shit!!!! Nice right?? So here's a sneak peak of my finished manifold before we go through the process Ok I kid Here we go! Quick break to check my pistons for any detonation marks Nope were looking good back to it \ Meanwhile........Still banging out shop work Back to the fun stuff...... Meanwhile he's doing that I'm sorting out my new fuel system, wiring for the AEM V2, cas trigger disc, suspension, new wheels, hicas abs delete etc
  17. Bozo is the guys screen name i was responding too.... -_- As that's just not true I've searched and found over a dozen people removing the abs pump, getting codes 8/9 and have no Negative affects to the awd function So I know that's not my problem But for shits and giggles I'm going to pick up my abs pump at my old shop to plug it in and see but seeing how it's been done time and time again (and r32 n1 models come with no abs too) I doubt it will change anything. ATTESA needs wheel speed sensors, yes I know this, I accidentally left one unplugged one time and got the code from the attesa ecu, when I plugged it back it it functioned perfect again, but it doesn't need the abs pump/solenoid assembly, that is strictly for ABS
  18. And bozo the ecu actually throws a code (21 I think) if it's not getting tps/rpm signal I'm fairly sure it is since the aem has a dedicated output (same as stock ecu pin) and there is no other codes
  19. Yes I know attesa uses abs sensors but they Report directly to the attesa ecu (it's also the abs ecu hence why it blinks abs codes as well as attesa codes) so it's getting the signals it needs just fine The codes 8 and 9 are relevant to the abs pump which has nothing to do with the 4wd I've read about several (a lot) of people pulling abs pump out with no 4wd problems at all
  20. hey guys, need some help with this one. ATTESA was working fine a year ago, but the car has been down getting new work done. I have since deleted HICAS, Deleted ABS, and swapped from Power FC to AEM EMS. There is no 4WD light coming on but my torque gauge is dead, it doesnt move. (I had this problem when i first got the car and it was the g-sensor, i swapped it with a new one and have had 4wd since than) When i flash codes from the attesa ECU i get code 8 and code 9 which are both for the ABS module and expected. From what I read this doesnt affect 4wd. no other codes. I know the Attesa ECU needs to see RPM, TPS Etc. But i would think it would throw a code if it weren't seeing these things. The aem has the proper circuit dedicated to TPS and RPM out, its not like i need to configure those outputs. If anyone has been down this road before please help me out. If it was giving me a code at least I'd know where to look. thanks in advance
  21. yes thats just it. Smaller diameter = Velocity (spool/torque) whereas larger diameter = Volume (HP up top) same idea as intake manifold runners Im switching from a custom 1 1/4in steampipe log manifold to this twin scroll 1 1/2in, I will have back to back data between the 2 soon enough, relative to spool/lag time, and HP/TQ numbers overlaid on a dyno graph. sucky part is i never got past 15psi on the log mani (ran out of fuel) so I will do back to back at 15psi (my turbo is way below its efficiency at 15psi) Im very curious myself
  22. *actually not finally Damn autocorrect
  23. Has to be rb25 (which isn't even relevant here) cause rb26 are a finally 2 t25 flanged manifolds, can't really run one gt35 on it (rb25 is t3 I believe so you could)
  24. also as a note on the welds my guy likes to taper the "butts" of the pipe all the way to the ID. Typically they come tapered halfway in but he likes to taper it the entire way, that coupled with full backpurging allows for deep/full penetration.
