Hi, I am looking for a Nissan remote fob as a spare. I heard its possible to use the common nissan remotes but rather than go to a Nissan dealer, does anyone know where to get one from. This is for the R34 as I was only supplied with one remote and I would like one as a spare. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...te-t298124.html A similar one like in this link is what i am chasing or even the factory remote fob.

you can always bring it to nissan and get them to match the numbers for you with the nismo cluster

i got a r34 gtt sedan factory manual for 15k. I reckon 12-13k is a realistic price. The car i got has approx 76,000kms.

In my zed it was the BCM fuse which is a big 40amp fuse. I dont think skylines have that fuse but i may be wrong. It was a hairline crack that i didnt see after so many inspections. Best to run a torch over the fuses to make sure.

check the big fuses for any hairline cracks. This has happened to me in another car.

I dont think you can really go wrong with a fair designed china or ebay spec fmic. As long as there are no sudden bends and the cooler has decent airflow, it should do the job.

to the above poster, i did do a search and i didnt find any threads about it or i wouldnt have asked. I can tell the obvious differences from the outside. The question i asked was, if the insides are interchangeable. And i got the answer.

what i want to know is, if the stopetop lights are the same for coupe and 4dr as i am interested in replacing the stovetop lights. I dont mind keeping the indicators.

check all the fuses. This includes even the big ones and look for hairline cracks as it might be making connection then dying.
