im currently undergoing quotes and other stuff at the moment with famous for my s15. im only 21 and have s15 with BOV and pod and there doesnt seem to be a problem... just a really high premium/excess... theyll still insure me tho.... which is better than most other companies will do...

firstly, sorry for stepping on other peoples ground (QLD) but i just wanted to give my 2 cents... being a 'nissan enthusiast' I can understand the importance of keeping skyline cruises as skyline cruises. If i had a skyline and went on a cruise with u guys, I must admit that i would be happier to see just skylines than every tom, penis and harry there.... there are a number of reasons i spend most of my internet time on sau even tho i dont own a skyline. i feel a lot of the information available to the public on here is very uselful and doesnt just relate to skylines only. i mean, i bought my BOV from another member on sau so it has come in handy for me. skylines are one of the most popular imports on our roads (if not the) and therefore there is a lot more interest in this forum as opposed to others. sau should hold its head up high (i know its not possible but just feel me here ok? ) as there are a large number of non-skyline owners that have an interest in this forum and therefore feel that they want to meet other members... where better a place than a cruise? obviously the barinas and commowhores can be looked down upon but at the end of the day, whether they be lines, silvias or 180's, most of us have fast nissans and they are all a joy to see... i rekon keep em coming (within reason)...

hehehe... i did a sss pulsar too... pulled up at the lights with this bloke who had like a 4inch exhaust and super chrome rims that if i took a picture could maybe post a thread "Very Special Chromies" plus a big Nismo sticker on the back... he revved the s**t out of it at the lights and gave me a greasy when i looked across... the lights go green and before i could even take off i heard a grumble, grumble clunk... the dick stalled his car and i just belted off pissing myself laughing... :devfu: sadly, again, no g/f...

a bit off topic but this is my beef... the good ol' days allowed you to exceed the speed limit by 10% + 3kmph. (ie. 113 in a 100zone) then i believe it was changed to +3kmph (not including the 3kmph variance between speed detector and car speed) now its zero tolerance so basically, 3kmph above the speed limit and ur stuffed... i'm not gonna condone speeding but seriously, there has to be some sort of leeway so when overtaking a car or something u dont get ****ed by a speed camera. Mindyou, I got done driving down the GOR. The only place i could overtake a car pulling a trailer safely, the coppers placed a speed camera and i was done doing 15kmph over the limit. It's just getting ridiculous...

who knows... maybe oak was in the area, grabbed ur badge, and now he has one for his bonnet... ala m3m3nto...

sorry to here, but it is kind of ironic after bagging oak about his... go in the group buy with the GTS badge boys and swap with him...
