modifying the gtst catch, is this a sraight swap over with a gtr catch and straight bolt on

Hey guys in the process of buying some items but need to know some solid facts. 1> is the r32 gtr bonnet an aluminium alloy lighter/stronger than the gtst bonnet? 2> is the r32 gtr boot lid an aluminium alloy lighter/stronger than the gtst boot lid? 3> is the r32 gtr doors an aluminium alloy lighter/stronger than the gtst doors? your input would be great, thx andrew

is the bracket the same as the r32 gts-t/gts brackets that u say arent included cos u need. its the little bracket near the head light right?

im intrested not for 850 ea. f*k that. is it a straight bolt on procedure to the gtst r32 body?

this kit is made for the gtr body, however like u say with money, it can be done with a good expeirenced panel beater. vertex/uras is the uggliest shit i ever seen. no offence to those who like or may have. group buy? dunno wat ur on about this is my car, and im currnently looking for gtr front quarter panels to put on. its a front vielside r32 gtr bar but ive been able to put it on my gts body without it looking like shit. its not painted yet. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...an-t260364.html

yer i think its the trail front bar, but i dont like that. Its the ass end i like, adds 30mm each side to the gtr rear quarter panels or so i read, check this crazy shit. love the blue one.

i had an obsession with this kit for a while, r34 front with r32 back, pretty sick. but i thought f*k that im repn R32's not r34's, even though i have much respect for both. i investigated and saw a few shit jobs here and there and scared me away. stick with ur r32, if u like r34's then get an r34. i seen it on ebay for $1400 just kit no head lights or labour. im after the vielside e3 back end on my r32 f*kn PHAT. then chuk some phat wheels 10inch+ on to the rear. http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m166/fa...ide32GTR019.jpg check it ^^

i had the same problem with my parcel shelf in my R32. i just built another shelf as u call it and mounted it much stronger with bolts from top to the bottom in the boot. u can do it with the stock shelf just matter of drilling a whole and chuk a bolt in to clasp it down like a motha f*ka.

if u want a sub, sub amp, 4 ch . amp and rear speakers (dont forget wires/cabling, theyre quite pricy and most time consuming shit when installing) i would recomend strathfield brands. mtx, pioneer . . . so what your saying is you already have decent front speakers and headunit? if u r running stock speakers up front and a shitty head unit i would recomend u starting from there. the best sound comes from good front splits being powered by a good amp and headunit. however if there good and have amp outputs i would be starting off with a good 4 channel amp and rear speakers. dont get 6x9's if ur going a sub total waste. actually dont get 6x9 at all there shit in my eyes as the outer cone has a lag as such, dont get splits in the rear either as some do (parcel shelf is already ear level) leave the sub till last! get ur front and rears running 1st with a nice amp. i got rid of my type R sub when i got rb26 conversion, subs r more of a 'look at me while drive past and hear my doof doof'. i'd rather listen to the lovely sound of my engine along with my oppenents in the ca beside me. my full type R system with out a sub is all i need. but hey, everyones diff.

hi guys Just driving home from uni today and realised my feet getting really f*kn hot (My heater/ac was turned off), ive noticed it b4 but never took any action until now. I originally thought that it was heat from the engine travelling through the firewall but its not. The heat is coming from the outlet vents under the dash that heat ur feet when u have ur heater turned onto feet. wtf is this shit, y is it sending out heat when the heater/ac is turned off. I think this is the reason y r32 dash board vents end up brittle and crack from this constant heat escaping. If u turn off the unit when its on face the heat comes out of the top dash vents, if u turn it off when it on ur feet the heat comes the feets ducts. any1 else experiencing this? can it be fixed?

Yer ive always planned to get them but now i need to no the technical side of things, will they fit?.......

hi guys I have a R32 GTS body, i recently bought a vielside GTR front(along with the gtr reinforcement bar), assuming that it would mount on my R32 gts body with out a problem. i no that the r32 gtr quarter panels are wider than mine but i assumed they would originate from the same position, but they dont. I was able to fit the vielside front with force however it warps a little bit in the middle but its only noticalbe to someone whos installed it, aka me. My question is this "Will R32 GTR front quarter panels bolt/screw straight on to my R32 GTS underlieing shell?" cos im assuming that they do, but i dont wont to purchase a pair only to find out that it doesnt fit . hi guys Just bought myself R32 gtr vielside front for my r32 gts. i have already fitted it along with the GTR reinforcement bar looks great, but however the vielside body is a bit wider than my gts quarter panels. My car is black but other colours will be considered. One quick question, the gtr front quarter panels will be a straight bolt/screw on procedure right? thanks andrew, Victoria
