Ok i know this is probably not only the wrong section but the wrong website however typing in swiftsaustralia.com didn't turn up anything so I'm just going to try my luck here, as most of you know i'm in Brissy visiting my GF who unfortunately doesn't exactly take care of her car all that well, so when I'm here i try to give it as much TLC as I can. About 3-4 months ago the car started behaving really badly it would stutter and jerk a lot, after we changed the oil, oil filter, air filter, and spark plugs it improved dramatically but its still stuttering especially when you have the pedal to the floor with low rev's (Like in a higher gear or going up a hill). Also it feels a bit low on power at first I thought it might be because I went from my pride and joy to hers but she also says it feels a little down although it does seem to pull a little harder when it achieves higher rev's. I'm still trying to find the fuel filter and replace that but other then that hope you guys have some good input James

Yea but he's not planning to cook for it, personally it was a big part of the cruise it REALLY made it unique and I don't care if I have to pay $130-150 for it, this cruise is like no other and personally I would like Hamish to pocket some of the cash for 30-40 hours for prep having to do a pre run, to taxi all the food up the day before...this is not including the time he took to plan, and book everything he is probably one of the only people I wouldn't mind paying a little extra for this kind of service. I hope you guys back me up on this because we all know how amazing this curise was. PS. Admitably there is some part of me which is Asian...usually that part has alot to do with money so naturally a stingy bitch so for everyone who didn't come...the fact that I'm willing to pay more and want hamish to get some sort of financial gain out of this mean you REALLY missed out on a freaking FANTASTIC cruise

Hahah thanks TJ, just arrived to brissy so I'll get working on it asap, and why does everyone call brisbane brisvegas?....Crown is wayyy better then anything here lol Hahha I or even DD Drift Day, but I was still new to the whole camera thing then and th video's then weren't all that great due to placement and lighting I think the Buller vids are probably the best BY FAR of any videos i've taken so yea I've already edited them and ther is one section that has someone's plates visable so I have to blur them out before I can upload them, its just that for some reason Facebook plays up when I try to upload them but I'll keep you guys posted. (I'm doing on FB cause I'd like to regulate who can see them...although I think YouTube may have a feature like that....I'll look into it)

I really couldn't have asked for a better cruise to go out on and it's really going to make me miss everyone in SAU, hopefully I'll get the videos and images uploaded ASAP!

Thanks heaps Hamish & Mel! You two did such an amazing job of this weekend, as everyone is already telling you... As this was my first Vic skyline cruise and possibly the last one for James, I'm really thankful to you for making this so amazing for us both. We had the best time, and are adamant that next year we will be driving from Brisbane if need be to do it all again! To everyone else, it was so nice to meet you all, i think you are all wonderful! And thanks for your words Mel, you're such a sweetheart! You truely did create such a happy atmosphere for everyone around you! Congrats Hamish, your hard work and efforts have really made this cruise one we'll never forget

Ok, I know this is late notice and in the wrong section but I really want to give this event as much exposure as possible and hopefully Hamish wont go out on his own pocket for organizing this epic cruise. This 2 day cruise which includes a great lodge to stay at and your very own PERSONAL chef, not to mention unforgettable driving and people so if your intrested and are free for the next two days head on over to the events section and have a look, hopefully we will see you there! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Mt...ic-t292028.html James

Simon is right and the ones which are used by the coppers are re calibrated regularly where as you cant re calibrate those small hand held ones, some allow you to replace the actual sensor but it becomes expensive

How many were you planning on Hamish? EDIT: Do you think Ash would make a closed thread on the main board to notify people of this event? Just cause I know not everyone subscribes or checks events regularly -

Ok man I think this has gone far enough and I'm pretty sure this is going to start getting pretty nasty sooner or later, we all see your point but just because YOU don't want to drink doesn't mean others don't either, I'm fairly sure like ALL of us we have a few problems with the law and our cars, but what if the law was different say for ANY detectable item which is in your car (FMIC, BOV, Aftermarket turbo's ETC) the cops passed a law which allowed them to impound and turn your car into scrap now that would infuriate ALL of us here on SAU BUT, your going to get everyday drivers who don't have these things saying GOOD! I DON'T have any trouble in that regard so it's something which SHOULD be in place and it's their own stupid fault for doing it...does that sound right? I know this is probably a bad example but I cant think of one which you can relate to since i don't know you, BUT can you see my point? Yes we get it, you obviously don't like alcohol or CANT see the reason why we need a .05 tolerance but not everyone in the community is you, otherwise we'd all be the same and they'd be no fights, wars or disputes and the world would be at peace and we'd all probably die of overpopulation....but back on track could you imagine a place where for have ONE " too big of a rim your car would be destroyed? Other people may not have a problem with it but to sure as heck there is going to be A LOT of people that will.

Yea thats the same everywhere, I have a Queensland License but I only had P's for a total of 2 months (when I was 17) until I got my full's

...sorry, I keep forgetting how much laws can vary from state to state here
