Haha it's not a sale, it's just the price, I've been meaning to get one over the last 2 years just never gotten around to doing it, it started at $150! Although you have to be careful, apparently some ass goes in and buys pretty much all the stock and sells them on eBay for $240+ it's a bit hit and miss with the stock EDIT: Let me know if your going PLEASE!
-
So I assume most of you know Costco is selling these jacks for around $165ish, I don't really want to spend $60 on a membership and was wondering if anyone has one so I can get one of these little guys?
-

Weird Problem Starting R33 Gtst Last Night (Compression?)
JamesK replied to JamesK's topic in General Maintenance
Thanks for all your input guys, she seems all good now but it did worry me a bit, I'm going to do a service today, hopefully it was just a cold day think and probably get her tuned a bit soon. Thanks again! I'm assuming DVS JEZ is the Trent of NSW? -
Hey guys, had a bit of a weird problem last night, it seems to be fine now as I drove her to work, but I just wanted to post here and get some opinions. So it was a bit chilly last night and my R33 was sitting out in the Rain most of the day (took the bike), I go to start it and it turns over normally but quickly dies, thinking I just let off the starter too quick I try again, the starter motor spins much quicker then normal this time along with the engine. It felt like there was little compression in the cylinders so I quickly check the engine bay in case a pipe came off somewhere, it was dark but I didn't really see anything out of the norm. I try again blipping the throttle this time and finally struggles to start, idle was a bit rough for a few seconds and I had to hold the revs for a bit but everything seems ok now. Anyone know what could of caused this? Should I be concerned? Additional Info: 1995 R33 GTST 8100 X-Cess 5w40 Pretty much stock PFC Tuned by Trent > 2 years ago Nismo 3 to 4" pipe Thanks in advanced James

Lol when I googled "Boxing Ring Hire" SAU was probably the last website I expected to come up. How did you go with this James? Feel like giving me a few lessons?

What are people's opinion is the better choice 18x9+32 all around or 18x9+32 front 18x10+40 rear Will the rears even fit?
-
Well I was thinking about getting front 9's and rear 10's. Does 10's fit well on 33 GTST's?
-
Should I just go 9.5+32 all around? PS Text me, I lost your number, we need to organize meets like the good old days

Hey guys, my baby needs some new wheels and tires so I decided its a good time to change them both in one go (since I most likely need different tires when I change) but I'm a little bit lost with the whole offset of things I want them to sit, at the most, flush with the car and not sticking out stance type deal. They have a bit of dish to them although I'm a little embarrassed to name the actual wheel with the cause I'll probably get a bit of crap from it, but on my budget I wasn't left with much of a choice. Currently I'm looking at 18x8.5+35 18x9.5+32 Will this look nice or absolute dog balls? Would it also be better to get the same offset? (This is just what the shop has in supply) I'm not afraid to roll the guards if required Thanks in advanced, James

Repercussions Of Disabling Fwd On R32 Gtr?
JamesK replied to JamesK's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Hmmm...I was thinking maybe having it as a good "best of both worlds car" fun on the track but also could drift if I felt like going that route...but I guess R32 GTR as a drift car is a big no no? I would assume the lag of the TT wouldn't help either? -
Repercussions Of Disabling Fwd On R32 Gtr?
JamesK replied to JamesK's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Thanks Moodles, do you know anything about this "steering lock" bit though? A lot of people say the steering is shit in 2wd, and recommend swapping the 32 gtst steering rack and from suspension components if you're going to keep it this way. I wont do this but is the steering really that different? What do they mean by lock? EDIT: This is where I found them talking about "lock" http://www.driftworks.com/forum/technical/131819-r32-gtr-4wd-2wd.html -
Hey guys, I don't own a R32 but I wouldn't mind getting one, one thing which has always attracted me to them is the "looms" i saw for sale a while ago that allowed people to disable the fwd, I like 4wd traction but sometimes you just want to go on the skidpan you know? So I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with this? From what my research has dug up there is some major concerns about pressure build in the transfer case but no real reported problems. They say dropping the front shaft would a good idea as it's pretty easy but apparently there is another problem of "steering lock"? Not entirely to sure what that is but I just wanted to see what other people experiences are?

Hey guys I don't really use the stuff but I know some of you do but getting some things at Repco they have 4L 300V 10w40 for $90 on clearance I don't know if that's cheap or what they go for but I thought I'd post here just on case, there are 3 bottles at the time of posting this.

It's because that's not what it was called in the United States, It's actually called LionHeart in the United states. Try searching that instead you'll probably pull up more results

Unfortunately Stateroads get a lot of good and bad reviews, however I have noticed that every year their price goes up. I paid $215 back in the day, I say it was worth it, however not so sure for $340 now especially with all the bad reviews coming around. You will find a lot of good things about Chasers on this forum PS. That little camera thing is just an inspection cam, you can pick one up for about $100 at Total tools, have one myself but it's a little disorienting when you get into things cause you don't know which way is up. It's cool though

Pioneer Avh-P2300 Dvd Hand Brake By Pass
JamesK replied to Shankarsam25's topic in Tutorials / DIY / FAQ
Hey Shan, Unfortunately you have posted this in the wrong section however I will answer your question You will often find that the handbrake wire taps into your existing sensor handbrake sensor which activates the little light on your dashboard. If you wish to bypass this (Which I DO NOT recommend for obvious reasons) just connect it to any ground cable or your chassis JR EDIT: I did a little Googling and apparently some of the new Pioneers detect if you have a constant ground and still disable the video, the fix I found was to use a 12V relay with this diagram. It's pretty straight forward and will solve your problem for you. Otherwise you can just use a rocker switch, but then you would have to turn it on and off every time you restart the car -

Might be possible if Nissan is doing some sort of promotion, I know where this shot was taken and it looks like Nissan was having some sort of publicity stunt (You can see the banners they put up under the street lights) but my best guess is they contacted the owners in HK and asked them to be in the shoot Not entirely sure what your referring to, if you meant getting them together would have been difficult because of how busy and dense it is, then I can see where your coming from but if your thinking there is a lack of sports/super cars in HK then you can not be further from the truth, I'm pretty sure I posted this album here before but here it is again - EVERY Sunday these guys meet to get breakfast and a small sprint in the twisty's and trust me when I say this was an AVERAGE day, apparently the weekend after a Zonda F, Gumpert, AND a Reventon rocked up...seriously FML PS. You might be wondering why cops never show up, many of these people are "Well Connected" chances are they all know the Chief Commissioner of the police force (which isn't as amazing as it sounds, hell the guy had dinner at my house once) but no cop in their right mind would hassle anyone of these folks. Chinese culture is all about respect and who you know. Album 1 http://www.facebook....2b414403&type=1 Part 2 http://www.facebook....6ebbff5e&type=1

I will ask the photographer I think this shoot might have been sponsored by Nissan So the cars could be borrowed or Nissans own "Show" cars
