Sorry I wasn't an idiot i didn't read the title completly well uh what happens if you try to unlock the door?
-
Taking off the door trim is easy just be gental you dont need to force it I think there are three screws on underneath, one in the bottom of the hand thing you use to close the door and one BEHIND the light switchn just get a flat head and gentally wiggle it out but be careful cause if you dont get a good enough grip the plastic might chip off
-
Hey guys just a warning because these forums can be searched by Google I would advise you to post your e-mails as pictures that way they can't be searched by bots

a 89 charade??? With a top speed of like what? 150? What is it with those idiots such as that integra fag that you encountered that makes them feel like they have to race anything they drive next to?? Except when they KNOW they don't stand a chance, like say you were driving your R33 bet he wouldn't have done shit then. But it seems like all you do is move up an idiocy level, now instead of integras you get WRX's, Supra's, certian Silvia's, etc Reminds me of those type of people who i saw today at Autobarn some tard came in wanting to buy a muffler and you know what his first question was? "Will it make my car louder?" It was funny cause you know everyone wanted to go "Are you an idiot?" but they were being all "professional" and explaining that he should change they entire system to get some real sound improvement, I couldn't stand working with people like that i'd just want to take a 2x4 and whack it over their heads telling them NO ONE likes Cannons Oh just curious what puppy did you get?
-
PFfff I could do that...that stuff is childs play EDIT:....Oh wait...I actually watched the video....HOLY..! Man I wish I had an access to a course like that, Should invite that guy to the DECA Bet the Segway guy's eyes were closed and his pants were brown

I was wondering when a OMG CHEAP FUEL! Thread would be started...I pray it stays this way, man I really wish you could store fuel then we can start a group buy? Lol
-
Personally I would think there is a slight chance that would pop out although, I find if it's not a perfect "punch in" it wont "punch out" and I think it's right where the metal forms the wheel arch it might not pop out but I'm no where close to a pro so yea wait to see one of the more experienced members think, If it was mine I would probably try to get as much of the dent out as I could, sand it smooth, stop by the shop get some spot filler mixed with fiberglass, can of color, and clear coat. Thats been working for me and my minor dints and scratches but like I said I'm far from an expert
-
Thanks Kaz, it's in DT's hands now hopefully they will do a good job....their sign does say "All work guaranteed" and in Chinese right next to it: "Just Kidding" hahhaha I wish I could read Chinese hahah....gross, yo man I saw you going under the bridge from the Monash Caulfield roundabout didn't notice a smashed up skyline did ya? haha
-
Well it's in DT's hands now, Handled with Vu seems like an honest man, but yea there is some major body work to be done $800 1. Repair the beaver 2. Knock back the paint and panels 3. Respray entire rear bar 4. Respray side panel next to the light 5. Respray light oh well, nobody said life was easy
-
Well if thats all it takes then why doesn't the government subsidize some of the cost for first time P platers? If it could save lives I think that would be pretty good to implement no? As for the US question the driving age varies from state to state (and being 50 states there is a lot of variation) but there is a big difference in the way it works compared to Australia for example in high school we have driver ed, we have mandatory driver training at least a couple times a month during particular sems. Also in some cases without passing this class you would be denied a license another big difference is that in some states to cut down on "hooning" they arrange free track days which I notice to be quite effective. A lot of my friends who go to track days have really good attitudes they know what belongs on a track and what doesn't

As Ash said I thought it was pretty good but I would have liked to seen more test drivers I think they only had 2 or 3 one of a younger age and one older, it would have been nice for a more through run down on that part such as families in different area's I know a lot of farmer kids who have to drive everyday around the field and I know when I use to live in Brisbane this sick little 11yr old drove a dirtbike like there was no tomorrow his experience on a bike would definitely contribute to his awareness on the road, and same for the opposite a mature age person who have only been driving for awhile compared to a younger person who got their P's the day they were legal EDIT: Oh and that statistic of 2 P plate driver's dying every week...thats just scary, really make you think. I also wanted to know (if you guys watched the vid) you opinion on that car they were testing, it limits your speed depending on your GPS position and what speed limit it has stored in it's database, I don't know about you but it seems to me like one of those things where it seems like a good idea on paper but in reality, thats another story. Think about it what happens if you rely on that feature to much? You floor it all the way knowing the computer will limit your speed to whats legal what happens if you step into a car which doesn't have it and forget? Seems stupid but if you own that car and thats how you learned to drive I think it's possible. And also what if the speed changes? I know my TOM TOM has a feature like that and it tells me that some area's on Princess highway is 100 when it's 80 now and a lot of the highways are all 80 where in some cases my TOM TOM says is 110! I know it needs to be updated but then I would need to buy a brand new map and I just don't have the money for that. Like I said seems like a good idea...on paper, What do you guys think?
-
How much would you guys expect to get the rear bar and light resprayed? and who would you guys go to? Oh and I'm also going to need to get the frame beat out a little bit cause as you may have noticed it's been pushed in, the damage doesn't look that bad but I dont want to mess with the frame. I will probably disassemble the light housing and do it myself though I noticed that it seemed like covering just screws on so it shouldn't be hard to sand down and spray over buy I don't have the equipment of the facilities to respray an entire bar! EDIT: Oh and does anyone know what that black gooey sealant is around the light housing? Noticed it when taking it off want to get more so I can apply it when I put it back on....seems important
-
UPDATE: Just went to paulies, gave me a good price in the things I needed but the color is wrong, did have a rear bar in silver but it was an aftermarket part so it didn't fit now I have the parts in white so going to take them to a beater to get them resprayed, also there is structural damage unfortunately if you notice the trunk sticks out like a sore thumb it's not because the light is smashed but because the whole frame was bent in I'm hoping the beater can fix it, will post pictures soon
-
Just letting you guys know the story is playing NOW!
-
HAHAHA thanks htial, I needed that, yea I'm sure it will buff right out....when I replace em, I was meaning to respray the bottom of the bar anyway guess this saves me that job lol. Thinking of removing the lights and bar today just to see if there is any damage to the underside
-
Haha damn with a kick ass sound system, comfy bed, nothing will beat a drive through
-
Thanks a lot TJ, you've been a great help, I'm hoping to get the car fixed next week....Looks like it's going to be a lot of man hours but I got this car for the experience too so this will be good for me in the long run...just not for my wallet haha
