  1. yea i seen that too. It has been for sale for AGES.... does anyone know the history or what is wrong with it? seems sus
  2. 2 already for sale on carsales. 178k black looks smick as!!! http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars/NISSA...0&Model=GTR
  3. cheers mate appreciate the offer, however I'm in qld. Everyone is saying don't get a cheapie, how can you be sure an expensive one isn't sh*T? Is it best to buy 2nd hand from someone in aust, or buy directly from japan?
  4. Hey all, What does everyone think would be a fair price for a good condition , late model vspec2, low km (under 50,000), stock - light modded R34 GTR? Prices vary so much on carsales 40k-70k? How can the prices vary so much? is under 50,000km going to be legit for a 6-8 year old car? how can I tell. can anyone give me tips/signs what to look for, or what goes first in r34's I would greatly appreciate any help.
  5. not sure might be these guys http://payasyoudrive.com.au/views/content/whatsthecatch.aspx
  6. there is a new company been advertising "pay as you go insurance" apparently you pay depending on how many km's you do per year. sounds ok if you only take your skyline out on weekends/cruises ect. has anyone checked em out?
  7. you rekon the 135i and 335i motors are better than an rb26?.... 135i and 335i are not M3's, they are totally different cars....
  8. lol, thats so true, many times I've been out cruisin only to be joined by fellow skyline drivers, 1 time the trend caught on, and we had over 10 skylines join the convoy, all strangers . We ended up driving around all night.. anyways I suppose you have to own one to understand
  9. all pros point to BMW, and despite all the cons you just have to own a GTR to really appreciate em. Deep down I'm telling myself the M3 is a better car, but I just want a f**ing R34!!!!!I diasgree that r34 gtrs are common , I see hardly any around brisbane? There is really nothing else comparable in 50-80k price range?
  10. for so long I've been waiting to upgrade my 33 to a 34GTR, however today i got a ride in a 04 M3, and I gotta say you could not wipe the smile off my face.Eveything about the m3 is sweeet, very much a drivers car, and mate you could mistake a turbo underneath the bonnet, although I dare say a mildly modded 34 will still flog it?Prices are now coming down and you can pick them up for 50-60k which is close to R34 GTR money. Has anyone any thoughts on the pros and cons or driven both?, here is some I thought of M3 pros - 1. abosulte sex on wheels in stock trim 2. sweet as handling, 3. sweet as leather bucket seats and lush interior 4. best NA ride I've ever driven, smacks any v8 out there 5. getting cheaper 6. gets the looks M3 cons, 1. service costs 2. how much more power can you extract? 3. gets the looks anyone else contribute pros and cons please
  11. prices on carsales are 45-110k, and some have been advertised for months, which suggests buyers are not willing to pay these amounts. How prices can fluctuate by 100% seems sellers have unrealistic expectations. It's like 2 houses side by side for sale if 1 sells for 300k, then the price is set at 300k. Prices will have to come down as 34's aint that rare with the exception of NURS, however there are 2 for sale on carsales 1 for 73k another for 99k. Also TT 6 speed supras (yes i know a different car but comparable) can now be bought for under 30k. I rekon acceptable prices regardless of mods are R32 - 15-25k R33 - 25-35k R34 - 35-50k
