  1. Im not sure if the powerFC's uses this but there is a temp sensor screwed into the cat itself. This could be stuffed
  2. Cool. Yea i have upgraded springs, koni adj shocks and im planning on getting bigger sway bars.
  3. Have you guys found that a front and rear or even just the front strut brace helps with handling?
  4. My R33 has std s15 200sx rims. Will this cause any issues with handling compared to std r33 skyline rims? These rims where on the car when i bought it.
  5. What size were they? and did you follow any guides on how to replace and adjust them? I think i could figure it out but it would be good to have something to reference.
  6. How much do the front and back sell for? And where is best to order from? Im getting sick of body roll....
  7. Someone would have needed to use there swipe card to get into and out of the carpark. Can you ask whoever manages the access system to see who's pass was used at that time? Also maybe try a different police station or talk to them at a different time of the day. I have found when i needed the police to help me some police stations are completely lazy and useless! Also the cops could freeze the video and enhance it a little. Cops can be so lazy and useless unless they are writing you a ticket.
  8. I found with mine there was a small channel running to the bottom of the tank. Run your hand along the bottom of the tank and you should find it. Follow this while your pushing the pump in and it should fit. I had to force mine a little bit but once it's in it's in.
  9. Yea thats it. 20 more kw for a few weeks then your engine breaking isn't worth it.
  10. Sorry i was meaning just to replace the bolts. Yea i am reving it no more than 6500rpm. It's a handfull sometimes so i think i will just enjoy the current power. Thank You
  11. I have a R33gtst and the engine was rebuilt all std but with forget acl pistons. I have upgraded alot of things like injectors, ecu, highflow turbo etc.... And the car has a very SAFE tune of 265.5kw because my tuner doesn't know how much the engine will take before it breaks (Because he didn't rebuild the engine). Will just replacing the rod bolts be a good idea and push more power through? Or would it be much better to just enjoy the current power and get a full rebuild later down the track? Can the rod bolts be changed while the engine is still in the car by just dropping the sump?
  12. You should turn the boost down and see if that helps over the next few days. Just make sure you turn it down and not up. haha
  13. Yea i bought some LEDs but they aren't very bright. There are brighter ones but there a bit more expensive. So i would rather get the right ones 2nd time around.
  14. I currently have a wolf V500 and i wanna setup the shift lights. But i dont know if i should use LED'S or normal globes? Has anyone set these up or even know what is in aftermarket shift light's?
  15. I have a GCG highflow and im making 265.5kw. I followed a FAQ on here when i changed my injectors and it does take a bit of time but i didn't find it hard.
  16. How much boost you running? If it's around 14psi and you have the standard ecu then there's your problem.
  17. You may be able to run 12 - 14psi for years and not have any problems. In saying that you might break the exhaust wheel on the first day. If you want to keep the std turbo keep the boost at a safe level.
  18. Did you install a check valve on the fuel pump. If not, when you turn the pump off all the fuel will flow back through the pump back into the tank. So when you go to start it next time there will be no pressure in the lines. Install a check valve or you will need to prime the pump a few seconds more than normal before you start the car.
  19. When you get around that much boost the ECU see's it and causes the missfire. It's a inbuilt safety. And the ecu probably went into limp mode. I guess next time you play with boost controllers be very very careful and slowly put your foot down. But as you said it should all be good now.
  20. Depending if you live / work near any good performance workshops you should be able to take them for a quick drive and they should be able to tell you if it's shaft play in the turbo or pinging. And it shouldn't cost you anything. (but find out before they hop in the car) But i would also say dump the fuel and put different fuel in. Not from the same place.
  21. Great result mate. I have a wolf v500 and love it. But thats a fair bit of boost and power to be running through stock internals. Are you planning a rebuild in the future?
  22. That hose will run under the BOV, It's not connected to the BOV at all and it's 100% vent to the atmo
  23. Without knowing exactly what your afr's are as your making the changes you could blowup your engine. Plus even if you did make the changes and there was no knock you probably wont be getting the best out of the tune. Save your money, Keep the boost down and get it professionally tuned on a dyno.
  24. i have been recommended to get a 200 cell metal cat.
  25. Hey mate. Thats a fantastic result mate but i wouldn't be running it with that much boost for very long. You would probably be tipping your engine out and starting again in no time.
