  2. I am selling this because i have decided to go a full standalone ECU. But this has been running im my Skyline for a while with no problems. I am asking $500 plus postage. This is from the haltech website. The Haltech Interceptor is a totally new “piggy back” ECU designed to work in parallel with your existing factory ECU. The Interceptor provides tuning of fuel mixtures, ignition timing, boost levels and many other features. The Haltech Interceptor is installed using a universal type wiring loom and tuning is performed on a laptop with user friendly Interceptor software for Windows. As the Haltech Interceptor works with the factory ECU, you need only tune where necessary, maximising power whilst maintaining factory levels of economy, idle quality, cold start etc. Performance has never been achieved so quickly, easily and affordably.   3. I need to fit a Air temp sensor in my R33 because i have bought a Wolf V500 and it needs one fitted. Has anyone fitted these sensors before? Any idea's where and how? Thank You

  5. Tezflow that picture look exactly the same as what my 95 R33 looks like. I have been told my car is a Series 1.5 by some people. I bought the series 2 splitfire coils and they work a treat. "SPLITFIRE COIL PACKS SKYLINE-RB SERIES RB20 25 26-005" the 005 model number is for the Series 2. The 001 model is for the Series 1.
  6. I am planning on replacing the injectors on my R33 in a few weeks. I have read the FAQ about replacing them and the only thing i cant get my head around is how to pull them out. Does anyone have pictures of how to pull these out or can explane in a bit more detail? Thank You

  8. But thats the problem. I have taken my car to 2 performance workshops before and paid over $2000 and they were useless. It's hard to find a good workshop in canberra
  9. ok i have set the base timing to 15deg with the TPS cable off. I noticed that the timing jumped up a fair bit when i pluged the cable back in but i guess that is pretty normal. But driving it after that it still feels like the power cuts as you rev out the gears. The only other thing that im wondering is i have heatrange 7 spark plugs in there and the std coils. Now i dont know much about exactly how the different heat ranges affect different things. I know that when its cold it runs like a dog thats fine but should i go back to heatrange 6 plugs till i get splitfire coils? Or could i just be barking up the wrong tree?

  12. ok cool. because i might be able to get one 2nd hand. But i cant find any that have been on a R33. So can i just get a addapter plug so it will plug into the factory loom?
  13. I have been looking at different ECU's for my R33 and one thing im not sure about is. How is a Wolf3d setup? Can you load a base map and go from there? Do you need to buy the exact model for your car? Or are they just all universal and you have to set everything up from scratch?

  15. I backed the timing off mine and it's not playing up now. Did anything happen with the car before it started playing up?
  16. I currently have a R33 gtst that is a S1.5 I am thinking about buying a power fc but i noticed they are only for S1 or S2. Would one of these be able to run on my car? Or can people please give me some advice on other ECU options? I have a High flow turbo and the engine has been rebuilt with forgies. So im looking to run atleast 17 or 18psi. I need to buy injectors and maybe some splitfires. And i already have a upgraded fuel pump and a Z32 AFM. (The AFM isn't fitted yet) Thank You
  17. I replaced the fuel filter a few months ago and the compression is fine. I went back to the workshop that tuned my car and as usuall they were useless and rude. I decided to drop the base timing back alot and now the car doesn't play up.... it idles really low now but i will adjust that soon.
  18. Mines doing the same too. It will run really well on half throttle but sometimes when you put your foot down it will have power for a second then it's like it switches off. How can you tell if your coil packs are starting to pack it in?
  19. Plus the idle is pretty rough and it likes to stall. It never used to still for no reason.
  20. Also i found that the car will run better on 1/2 throttle compared to full throttle.
  21. ok i take that back. It's still doing it just not as bad. Im wondering if the base timing is too advanced. Will it cause this problem? i think it's around 20deg BTDC.
  22. Well it looks like it was an adjustable fuel reg i had on there that was playing up and not the haltech at all.
