hey guys looking for some stock S1 Rs4 springs to borrow as I plan on taking them to Cartorque and getting them to arrange a custom set of King Springs. If you can part with them for a short while (im assuming wost case a month) i would very much appreciate it and would try and make it worth your while . Spoke to dave at cartorque and he is willing to discuss a groupbuy if anyone is interested i know there are more and more stags coming into adelaide and off the shelf parts just wont do so please help! cheers

Hey guys and gals as the title suggests Im looking for a Air Flow Meter and Oxygen sensor to replace the possibly faulty ones on my Stag. Im assuming any RB25det ones will work and doesnt need to be Stagea specific but in case the car in questions is a 97 auto rs4. Pick up from adelaide would be preferable but hey if you've got them i will pay for postage. any help on the matter would be swell. cheers

I've had the IAC/AAC valve serviced fixed the issue for a couple of days but now its bad again... any other ideas?

Hey guys im having pretty much the same issue as Stoks with almost identical car and the idling was getting pretty bad fluctuating from about 1000rpm to stalling while sitting in drive in traffic (even worse while in park) so i went and got the car serviced and they cleaned the AAC valve, did a throttle body service and reset the idling. was fine for about 2 days but now its getting worse change gears when the car is warm and it flutters between 1000rpm and almost cuts out. easiest way to deal with it i've found is to drive with the A/C on to lift the revs but that obviously isnt a good idea for fuel so... i need help! Spoke to the mechanic that worked on my car and he said the engine was A1 but thinks i might have a faulty AAC so i was wondering if anyone knew if if was common for the AAC to fail (understandable with a 12yr old car) and if so can you find replacements? any help would be appreciated

oh im after the same things, I got a quote from a crash repair that go through main north nissan at $7 a plug and i need like 20 of them, apparently you special female and male plugs. spoke to another repairer who reckons he can just stick the skirts back on with urethane? and it will only cost $100 including labour. anyway if autobarn do the plugs cheap let me know please

Hey guys im looking at get a custom sticker made up for the rear window of the stag, now i've called a couple places here in Adelaide just trying to get prices and the idea im getting is a couple hundred for a once off design. So i was wondering if there would be anyone else interested in getting this design (or a modification) and help spread the cost. Now i know its a really dodgey Paint knock up but its an idea, finished product would be white letters and with a clear background not white.... if someone wants to do a better version of the same idea then please do. I hope im not infringing on anyones intellectual property rights.

yeah its an actual company ive spoken to the guy whom answers phones a couple times trying to track down the driver, I've sent him a letter for him to sign saying that he wasnt insured and he has confirmed over the phone that he received it. god its annoying though, anyone else been through something like this?

SAU i need some advice, On september the 5th (fathers day) this year I had a truck change lanes ontop of me. Driver didnt indicate or check his mirrors end result is almost $3k of damage to my Subaru Liberty. Anyway the driver was in his work removalist truck and claimed at the time that he was not insured (oh goody!), I've got 3rd party fire n theft insurance. i got his name a business card and the rego of the truck, I have since been dealing with my insurance company (just cars) and their free laywer service who have sent a letter of demand but with no reply. I have called the driver on several occasions but he has dogged me (not in the office, phone running our of battery etc) and has not given up any extra contact details. The liberty is sitting in my driveway damaged im driving the my stagea and paying for loan for both cars, what it comes down to is whats my next step? what are my options? I dont really want to make a legal issue out of this cause it will probably get messy, but i will if i have to.

Hey guys i was doing a speaker install (sic) on my S1 on sunday and i found a really simple way to stop the beeps all together, just get under the dash remove the plastic cover and get to where the fuses are. towards the back right behind a bunch of wires and fuse box you will see a black box with a white wiring plug going into it, i think the box has something like "nissan smart entry system on it" something like that it could be completely different but you will recognize it by its stupid title. If you leave your keys in the ignition with the door open you wont miss where exactly the noise comes from. pull out the plug (this will stop your central locking/alarm from working) and remove the box , the easiest way into the box is through the top end where the plug normally inserts just get a small screw driver and you can take the plastic surrounding the plug off then remove the circuit board. the black capacitor looking thing is what makes the noise so all i did was get a adjustable wrench and carefully pried the black dome off. the dome is what housed the speaker so get rid of that and the circuit board thinks it still functions but no noise!!! put everything back together and your locking should work and no more reversing death!

ok so how does one go about removing the dash cluster? it was really weird car was fine on the express way, fine tearing down the back street then suddenly no speedo!!!

hey guys last night i became the proud owner of a '97 rs4 and all was going well, took it for a boost up the express way absolutley loving the power delivery and ride comfort, tore around a couple of back streets good stuff. anyway I was almost home down a back street when upon accelerating hard and hitting 60kph my speedo, tacho and fuel gauge cut out and just went to zero as if the car was off, now the strange thing is the car was working fine still speed up and slowed down with no issues. got home turned the car off left it for a minute and then turned it back on but the gauges still didnt move. went inside and called the previous owner and he said he had never encountered this issue. went back outside turned the car on and then all the gauges were working took the car round the block and everything was peachy.. anyone encounted this issue before? what do you think the problem might be? I find it a bit suss that the car is 11 years old with no issues and i have it for half an hour and something goes wrong. any help would be greatly appreciated

Hey guys im new to the whole skyline rb powered thing currently trying to sell a 2000 liberty (10,000 ono if anyone is interested) im from adelaide and im buying a stagea this week. just a couple of questions im looking at buying a 97 rs4 (b spec?) for $10,500 from a mate anyway its got 135,000kms and he had it inspected today and the results came back with a: small leak in the rocker cover slight leak in the front diff seal rear shocks leaking - looking at getting it lowered anyway within 6 months so i dont think thats a big deal rear diff front mounting bushes are worn so the questions are how much am i looking at to fix this? rough guesses are cool and also are they common problems? i understand that a car of this age things wear out but otherwise the car is in great condition and the guy doing the inspection said nothing was really urget but yeah any help would be appreciated. cheers nat
