Going To Do A Oil Change On Tuesday
BenzLe replied to 180 wanabe's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
On the topic of oil changes etc... I was reading through the manual, and it states that oil changes should be done every 6,000kms. Am I reading this wrong? I was under the impression that it should be every 10,000 k's? -
Hey guys, C&D Motorworks on Duke St, Sunshine North is where I take my car to for mecahnical repairs. These guys have sound knowledge about all imports, and I highly recommend them.

Hey guys, I have noticed on many occasions that the middle break light sometimes does not work! I can see this particulary well at night through my rear view mirror. Where it doesnt light up, I have noticed that whenever I restart the car...it works! Does anyone else have this problem? What could it be? Cheers!

I had taken off those stickers. Was an absolute pain to get the sticky stuff off. Dunno how I got off. I used a combination of wax, clay bar, this bur/tar remover and alot of elbow grease. Half way through taking off the sticker...I thought I shouldnt have started...but is all good now. My echo has those stickers as well...I hadnt taken it off but there are heaps of stone chips around the sticker!

Remote Central Locking Help!
BenzLe replied to BenzLe's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
LoL thanks guys. The reason i thought it wasnt the battery to begin with was that I had a new key made for the car and came with a 'new' battery. Coz the new key hadn't been programmed yet, i thought I might change the batt to see if it solved my problem...it didn't So yeh...taking the next step which was to listen to you guys...I got myself a new battery...installed it....and it now works. Thanks guys for making me wake up! -
Hi guys, Just recently my remote central locking doesn't work. I have searched the topics here but not sure if any relate to my problem! I find it difficult to lock and unlock the car (using the key fob). If I press it continuously... whether it be the lock/unlock or trunk, after a while (time varies time to time) it responds. I am sure its not the battery in the key that is going flat....but is there something I can check in the car, fuse maybe? your help would be of great benefit. Once, the car recognizes the signal and responds...it will unlock and lock without a problem...but if i leave it for a while, I'll be pressing the key like crazy again.

Anyone Experiencing This Problem?
BenzLe replied to T88turbo's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
oh crap!... I should read the rest of the thread before posting - silly me!.... Frank is cool...let me sit in the new white GTR - sexy. The car I wanted was a premium 6mt model but didnt like the cream leather. There was an automatic sitting nearby which had the black leather. He basically agreed to swap the whole interior for me at no extra cost. I'd better change the tranny fluid just in case. I feel so much better knowing exactly what oils are in my car. -

Hey superspit.... U didn't happen to buy the car at the Luxury and Performance car place in Bayswater - Melbourne did you? I know a Frank that sells imports there. Sold me a v35 skyline also! -
Thanks guys... I went to Centerline in Thomastown, and they said they will need to fabricate a new bushing from scratch. He didnt have any other bushings that could fit the car. He wanted to take off the rear arm...make some measurements (which will take a day and 600 dollars in labour) have it sent to sydney, and fabricated. Will cost another couple of hundred dollars to get the bushings made...and another few hundred to get them installed. pretty expensive... I will contact other suppliers mentioned in this forum, and see how i go... once again thanks for the help
-
Thanks guys. I've called Fulchrum and Centerline, and they have no such kits for the v35 nor for the 350Z. They told me to bring the car in to see if there are other bushings on the market that can also fit the v35. see how I go when I bring it in this weekend.

Hi guys - need some help please! Just purchased a camber kit, gone to bridgestone tyre center to get them installed...the guy refused to put them in coz he said "they look weak" and there was no australian standard certificate/sticker issued with it. I purchased the product from ebay...and the seller claims that these kits have been used in the america with no issues what so ever. Do you guys know of any good places to get them installed and have it wheel aligned in melbourne? (I was referred to many different wheel alignment places and they refused to do my car because "they didn't have the technology" & bridgestone was the only one that could do it) Any advice will be great. thanks!

Or perhaps using the wrong type of octane fuel?

I'm located in Melbourne

Hey guys, pictures of the wheels - only one has slight gutter rash as shown.

Hi ALL, Do you know anyone interested in buying stock v35 rims? The rims are in good condition, however rubber has about 20% tread left. Comes in a set of 4. Asking price $500- I will post some pics of them soon.

I've got my 2004 v35 dynoed at 153 kw at the rear wheels??? The only performance mod done is a cat back exhaust. Its no where near the 170 kw margin. The dyno guy did have some trouble fixing the sensor into the single exhaust though. Should there be 2 sensors fixed if you've got a dual exhaust system??
