  1. Very nice. I think it sits just right for practicality-any lower and you will need camber kits. You might get by without them now
  2. Wow welcome back. What have you done on the mechanicals that air intake looks massive!
  3. Nice one mate. Hope all goes well look forward to seeing some nice pics
  4. You got some pics ?.. Love the slate Blue in the 36
  5. Ignore the last message. Love black - fantastic on the V's[emoji106][emoji106]
  6. Welcome and best wishes for your importing and compliance- did my head in when I did mine all those years ago.Can you upload pics instead of us req google drive?.
  7. Hi Jetwreck- that looks exactly like mine!. (Before the mods). Sounds like your preparing a weapon!. Mine untouched for 8 years (came with Impul chip & lip spoiler, fujitsubu exhaust). Annoying week off the road -Getting a new radiator and fans(fans are rare as hens teeth).. Good luck with the mods.. Let us know how she rolls when it launches!
  8. Can someone hear confirm. Ive had my V 8 years & was told when I got it -it has non standard stabiliser bars - they are blue are these Nizmo units?. The front looks thicker. The car feels normal but turns into corners at high speed with ridiculous ease!. Left it bit late I know[emoji51]
  9. Also the blue water hose
  10. Thank goodness you saw the light![emoji106]
  11. When I first lay eyes on a V it was Black and immediately fell in love. After missing out on a few at auction, the first 2005 Lakeshore blues came up in mid 2007- I like this maybe even more than the black- they are the only 2 colours I like in standard V colours. The best thing is even after 2months of not washing it people say it looks real clean lol.Almost 8 yrs later and its still one of the best looking shape colour combos Ive owned and strangers still say it too[emoji4]
  12. Without seeing the damage that sounds about the price to repair both the bar & the quarter panel. If your in Sydney- Ultra Motor Body repair at Homebush West - In my street . I doubt they will be cheaper but their work is always great.
  13. Initiative is spending a few min asking a question BEFORE wasting half a day looking for it- especially if you have half a day to spare.Common sense asking does not mean you are lazy or lacking ability compared to others.it just means you are more readily personable. I read heaps and Im not lazy about anything I must do-Doesnt make me/you "better" than anyone- just makes us different. Lets leave it at that.
  14. The question remains - Whats the harm in answering someones question if you could. We've just wasted space on telling someone to read rather adding a constructive post in its place.....Otherwise just leave it. Way the worlds become "..do it yourself--theres nothing in it for me.."
  15. Why do people find the need to attack newbies on this subject. Yes the info is there but its gettig old and tbh I havent followed for a year ot 2 now. Also I noticed some of the Xanavi websites have disappeared. If I could offer some advise )& ai cant now) to a stranger in need I would gladly do so to spare him the hassle I went through.. " A friend in need is a friend in deed.."
  16. Welcome good luck with it,love the leather trim. I think more of us ex 33 owners seem to upgrade to these.
  17. Sorry to hear it. Try the manual reset mentioned above that will clear it but most likely these things return.. Just an idea but maybe one of the compliers up their will have a scanner that can identify the problem if it returns.good luck
  18. Very Nice mate like that blue. Premium SP? Best of luck with it
  19. Guys I just wanna say its more than possible for a car to have low klms-obviously depending on age- mine had- 14400klms when I imported but it was only 20months old & compliers certified my odometer. Japan is a small tight place so 5-10000klm pa is prob the norm compaired to 10-20000 for most Aussies. Sure Ive seen some shockers also but there are usually some indicators ( plastics/ leathers, engine etc)
  20. Sorry to hear. In my previous post . I actually typed "electrical things never go away until fixed".But deleted it because I didnt want to be the bearer of bad news so I deleted it..In my previous posts above you can see it did exactly the same.oh well at least you know for sure now.
  21. Exactly 7 secs. I did it a hundred times (at least) before I changed the clock spring
  22. All the other lights go off after about 2-3sec from start up. The airbag one always goes off about 4-5 sec after the rest. If its 10 sec then yeah Ive never read that before
  23. Hi Lee, its exactly 7 seconds and hopefully it stays away for you too. When doing the resets you can actually hear the "clock". In the off position its every two seconds. I guess thats why you turn on after 4 on reset. Goodluck
