it's the BOV not Waste Gate. Hmm, i'll check it tomorrow. i did check that the valve could open, which was abit hard to push in. But as this is my first Skyline i wouldn't know what is normal. Everything is in standard form with the BOV, i had it put back buy the Toy Shop after it didn't have one for awhile. May just buy new one see what happens. thanks for all the knowlage guys, my guess is the spring is set to tight because it does open when there is a high amount of boost, will see. Cheers blokes Cam

Running standard BOV, dousn;t matter what RPM even if you slowly build boost it won't open. if you put your foot flat hit 7000RPM then back off it will open. can you adjust a standard BOV?Hmmm i'll have a look Cheers Cam P.S Trozzle, i didn't buy this car to put around, why would anyone do that?would be a huge waste of my money. Nor did i buy it to thrash it, but if i feel the urge to hit 7000RPM in 1st and 2nd going onto the highway, why not? thats what there made for, and if a standard engine can hold 18psi with no hassles at all (as long as it's well looked after) i'm sure 10psi won't hurt.

Hi guys Just a quick one. Just wondering, when should my BOV valve open? it is a standard R33 GTS-t S2 running 10psi, at what PSI/RPM should it open? at this stage it won't open below about 6000rpm just getting flutter, but give it some and hit 7000rpm and it's fine. is this correct? or should it be opening at a lover PSI/RPM Cheers guys Cam

lol Terry i will leave it up to the guys as to weather they want to put anything on their cars, the GT-R's are only for the blokes anyway but will see what happens. I don't want to risk damaging anything as i know what these cars cost. As for the route, should be all smooth sailing i drive my car quite often over the same path so should be all good. thanks for the replies guys seems there are afew opinions out there. i figure, as long as they are in good nick i can safely get what i need out of them, i won't push them past 85-90% hopefully less. if i can get a safe 250kw i'll be stoked. i'll be getting fuel pump soon, then injectors,ECU,high flow. already have 3.5inch ex,FMIC,Boost controller hopefully this gets me there. Hi guys Yes i know i'm taking the plunge into darkness lol . At this stage i'm just after an EOI, just need to know if anyone would be interested. I'm getting married in November, at the Sir Fransis Drake at Heatherbrae near Newcastle, looking for any GT-R as long as it's tidy. Would prefere R34 but i know there few and far between in Newcastle so any will do. Should only need 2 cars with two passangers each. There will be about 30mins max driving the whole day as i live local (not including your own travel time). so it's basicly pick me up at my house drive about 10mins, have the ceremony than drive to the local river for some shots and back again. you will get paid, but price would have to be worked out. i see two Black R33 GTS-t's on my way to and from work at te Terrace one has a carbon bonnet the other has a GTR wing not sure on other features. Also a silver 33 GTS't around the corner from my house, looks standard with chromes. anyone on here?

Hi Guys Need to clear out garage. i have two sets of rims for sale but i have no pics for one of them. 1st is a set of 4 Speedy 18x8 Venom Gunmetal in colour. only about 10% tread Offset is 38. These are in perfect condition other than one mark whitch you can barely see. 2nd is a set of Black RS-GT 18x7.5 with 50% tread and a 42 offset. like the others in perfect condition with no gutter rash at all. asking $900 for each set i'm in Newcastle, pick up would be prefered but may post at byers expense Cheers
