ok read all these posts, as im young and fairly new to all this, i wouldent have a clue about fitting new solonoids and stuff myself does any1 have info on any1 in melbourne that can do this for me ? if so would the labour be the price issue coz 800 for the noid kit... and i read how much u gota do to get to these noids seems like a big job.. would a manual conversion be more reasonable. ? or is that probly the worst idea.. ?

Sorry guys maby this post has been posted before, but i used the search tool and i kept geting a NOT FOUND page... so sorry again if this problem has already been talked about. Well i living in melbourne vic, in epping, i was on edgars road bridge when i came to a stop my A/T light came on, now i duno why but i had a dream about my trans blowing the night before so when i saw it i nearly had a heart attack lol, neway once the light was on i could accelerate but i had to put the peddel all the way down and i would only move about 5- 10 kmph which got me onto the naturestrip outa traffics way... now i remember seeing someware on the forum people restarting the engin and the light dissapearing.. so i did that and the light then turned off... it was like the car was stuck in 4th gear, is this problem common in the R34 Gt. ? coz if so im gona rip that shit ass tranny out.. its startin to shit me lol? any tips or advice would be greatly appriciated.. ta. lmao thats exactly it was the exhaust the problem ? or will it be the same with even a 2.5" ?

hehe i guess all the advice given is fair i think i might sell the exhaust seems the best option i am indeed loosing power its fkn huge for a nonturbo neway thanks heeps ill give it a try n get bak to u guys on it. cheers, George.

Hi guys im fairly new to the skyline scene and the forum so for all the knowledgeable ones im sure u understand why im so dopey atm haha um ive got a R34 Gt nonturbo tiptronic 2door and love it but it came with this awesome exhaust.. its a 3.0" kakimoto catback but its not as good as it sounds.. reason being my car sounds like a VTEC honda hahah now ive just installed a K&N pod for better flow n riped out that huge airbox to try help out the exhaust but any ideas about what i can do to get rid of that vtec sound? is it the silencer or something a friend told me take it off coz im loosing power... im just confused and dont know much about the skyline... hope u guys treat the topic like u would any other i dont wana feel really stupid here.. cheers guys .
