Hey, on the passenger side of my car, the plastic with the window switch on it is lifted up. I was looking at pictures from the Skyline Charity Cruise and noticed another car has the same problem. Is anyone else's switch like that? Or does anyone know the best solution to keep it stuck down, whether i should just glue it or something.

I accelerated too fast out of a roundabout when it was pelting down rain. I haven't had my license for long either so i had no idea that the amount of acceleration i did would've spun my car out. Oh and also i over corrected myself when i started sliding, otherwise theres a high possibility i wouldn't have crashed. Also i never drove in wet weather when on my Ls, my mum wouldn't let me because she said i was too 'unexperienced', i often argued "how the hell am i supposed to get experience if i never drive in wet weather?" but it never got me anywhere. Either way i don't think its nice to assume i was doing something stupid when you don't know the whole story. I never do anything stupid in my car since its not cheap to fix nor was it cheap to buy. Saying 'next life' to me, doesn't effect me at all. If i kill myself in an accident then so be it, at least i won't be alive to care.

Hey does anyone know when there will be another big cruise? I really wanted to go to the charity cruise but my car was getting fixed so i couldn't make it, it looked so awesome.

Even if you find it, the guy might not want to sell it back to you? Why not buy another Skyline?

That first picture you have, is that what people put in their boot? Since i know theres a bar that goes across the battery that i've seen in pictures but i don't have one in my car. If it is then i'd be interested in it. Also whats the second last picture? I have a R33 Series 1, would those parts fit in it?

If anyone here was down at Petrie BWS today then i saw you lol. I gave up writing down plates when i saw so many. From recollection i remember seeing: 2 White GTR Skylines 1 White R33 Skyline 1 Redish/maroon (not good on my colours) GTR 1 Silver Four Door Skyline I'm not the best at spotting models etc of skylines so i might be wrong in saying those were GTR's, they just had GTR rear spoilers so i'm assuming their were GTR's. I think all the GTR's were R32's or R33's. None were R34's, i know that much lol.

Wow, thats stupid. I'll talk to the police before i buy them then. Since i want to at least be able to have them on when parked, otherwise theres like no other time to have them on.

My insurance pays out 14k if my R33 gets stolen, so it definately beats your 8k hahah. Oh and mines pretty much stock too, i said it had an exhaust system and a sound system, thats it i think. Even having insurance doesn't mean you get your money back, you gotta pay for the insurance claim and 98% of people here have probably spent more on their car than insurance will come close covering.

I'm waiting for my tickets to arrive (i also got early bird tickets), i can't wait to see: SILVERSTEIN!!!!!!!!!!!! and UNDEROATH!!!!!!!!! The Redjumpsuit Apparatus and Billy Talent are my next favourite. Theres a lot more that i want to see but i can't be bothered pulling up the list to write out all the ones i wanna see, i counted up a couple days ago that there was like 20 bands that i wanted to see. Then like 7 bands i don't want to see at all (Nine Inch Nails included) and yeah then the rest i hadn't heard of before. Silverstein better play Smashed Into Pieces, i'm sure they will though.

Thanks, I plan on putting the switch on the right side of the steering wheel so only i'd be able to touch it since i know a lot of my friends would be tempted to turn them on lol. I'll definately try to put 6 neons underneath since it sounds like a really good idea. Your car looks awesome, also your side mirrors are cool lol. Where did you get your neons from? Lol i don't want a civic, i like skylines but i wouldn't call myself a skyline enthusiast. I just modify what i want to modify and i really don't want to modify much in my car anyway. Also being on the P plate laws i can't do anything to the engine otherwise i'd be driving a turbo instead. Yeah i think i'm putting the right colour on my car, my car is black so pretty much any colour matches it anyway. I'm putting in blue neons. Thanks, theres not really any point arguing when it comes to opinions though. Opinions are opinions, the only thing worth arguing is facts.

Just out of curiosity, what do these gauges do? I'm always wanting to add modifications to my car but since i'm on P plater laws theres jack all i can do performance wise. Also i have a non turbo skyline so if they have anything to do with turbo i wouldn't be able to use them. They look cool and fancy so it'd be great if someone could tell me what they actually do hahah, i don't want them if they are no use to me.

Wow your car looks great. I'll have to try that some time but my car is getting resprayed and once i get it back i think the paint should be good for a while so i won't need to use any products on it to begin with.

Spotted a Grey R33 Series 2 at Bracken Ridge TAFE today. I might be mistaken on the model but i'm pretty sure it was an R33 Series 2. Looked nice except those marks on your front window, are they just dirty or are those marks stained there because of Japans damn pollution?

Yeah theres been enough people posting on my thread that neons are gay, get over it already. I'm having them on my car and you can do whatever you want to yours, i really don't care what anyone else does to their car. As far as i'm concerned, if everyone else made their skyline look like complete shit i wouldn't think "omg, disgrace to skylines" i'd be thinking "wow, now everything thinks my skyline looks 10000x cooler since its the only one that doesn't look like shit". You should care about your own car and your own opinions, not about other peoples cars and other peoples opinions. This thread was NEVER an opinion thread, it was an ADVICE thread on where i could get neons.

I'm sure he does realise that, either way it does not relate to my thread. I already have 6x9's on my parcel shelf in my car.

I'd much rather a performance exhaust than neons. What i'm saying is general drivers think people with performance mods are hoons because it makes your car go faster which they believe is completely unneccessary if your just driving on the streets therefore you must be a hoon. With neons they just think "that guy has some flashy lights, doesn't make his car go any faster though". If i were to drive like an idiot then they'd be thinking "damn hoon trying to show off". But just taking off at the lights with something like a loud exhaust people will be looking at you thinking "damn hoons always need to be the first off the lights". Thank you, thats exactly what i meant.

Neons are rice. Racing Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement I hope i cleared that up so that no one continues to spam my thread arguing whether or not neons are rice. I think if your neons are done properly and match the rest of your car and you aren't overkilling your car with neons then most drivers don't mind them. I think a big exhaust puts you more in the "hoon" bracket than neons do. I doubt theres many if any people on here that have stock exhausts. I know that everyone that sees my car goes "wow you have a massive exhaust" and its not even that big compared to some other peoples, to me its about medium size. My car looks pretty stock and is like 95% stock so most people don't consider me that much of a "hoon" (even though everyone driving a skyline is pretty much considered a hoon). Its actual performance enhancing modifications that make other drivers think your a hoon, not a little neon tube under your car.
