hey man, i had the same problem, turned out to have the timing 1 tooth out on exhaust side, double check ya timing belt. also did u wire the car yourself or did someone else? and while ur fiddling clean the AAC valve

hey bro worked it out for you. there is two yellow wires w. green stripes in the cabin that go from the chassis loom to the ecu, one is the diagnostic recieve which is pin 21 on the ecu, so get a ecu pin out diagram and trace it, the other one goes to pin 53 on a Rb20 ecu however if the pfc is rb25 it will also go to pin 53. For this all to work you must have the modified speedo drive. Another option may be if you keep the electronic speedo sender and run a cable from pin 53 on the pfc to the original electronic pickup. hope that helped and can sort u, or other out.
